The weather here is fucking awesome!

Currently white out conditions here. Some of the most intense snow I have ever seen. We might have to miss hockey tonight if this doesn't subside. That would be a tragedy!

Seriously, though. It's snowing like crazy here. We might get up to ten inches before morning. Break out the snowshoes!

It's been borderline blizzard conditions the past few hours here.

This goes without saying so I probably don't need to mention this, but this winter has officially past the point of being stupid. It past that point a long time ago, but I think I can safely say it's slingshotted itself past that mark. STUPID STUPID WINTER.

Now we're under flooding warnings, because it's going to be around 50 and it's supposed to pour rain. The more than three feet of snow on the ground is going to melt very quickly, and the ground under it is still frozen, so it has no where to go except into people's basements.

45 and raining today. Serious flooding all over the place. So much snow weight that one of the major stores was evacuated and shut down as people saw the ceiling visibly sagging under the melting snow and rain weight.

I hope so too. We need our vegies. 4-8" due her this weekend. 6 snows this month totaling nearly 3'. It's not so much the shoveling and driving, but getting my parking space back is such a bitch. I shovel it out and come back to someone else parked there. Sometimes I see a fucking cone dropped there. I don't bother moving it, I run over the thing and it sits under my car for them to find.

We're supposed to get 10 inches on Sunday. That likely means we won't have school. Again.

They're discussing adding days at the end of the year or having Saturday school. I vote for neither. I'm not going to school after Memorial Day, and I'm not coming in on a Saturday. That is why I horde my sick and personal days. Whatever they choose, I won't be there.

The snow is falling. But it's supposed to stop by Tuesday. Post dinner family walk including many snowballs: awesome. Snomobiling in the dark: awesome.
