I would think sooner or later people would get zombied out with all the zombie stuff in entertainment.

I also wonder if there ever will be a point where they stop making the Walking Dead world more sucky and depressing. At this rate I expect nobody to survive at the end.

Does anyone else here watch The Walking Dead?

I thought I'd throw up a thread to see if there are any other people who watch it.

Rick kicks Carol out. She'll show back up but I'm guessing it's not in a good way. Daryl won't be happy about that either.

Well, things didn't stay happy & safe for long, did they?

I'm enjoying how this series (the writers) has done an excellent job with developing more and more characters this and last season. Even though it's based on a comic book, the characters in the series are not at all two dimensional now. It's also great to see at least a couple of the better actors from The Wire (the guy who played D'Angelo Barksdale and the guy who played Cutty) showing up. Whether he was playing a quasi-pacifist or not, it did stretch believability to think that scrawny-ass Rick could take out Tyreese/Cutty (played by man-mountain Chad Coleman) with one or even a dozen punches - especially when they later show the same character mowing through dozens of zombies like a buzz saw, with nothing but a hammer and a head full of anger. From the very beginning, I've thought that casting Andrew Lincoln as Sheriff Rick was a bad idea - especially when his English accent sometimes slips out with certain words or phrases. Being from the south, it's easy as hell for me to pick up that whatever this guy is, he ain't no southerner. The same is true of the girl who plays Maggie (something Cohan or Cohen). Her English accent slips out even more than Lincoln's does and her southern accent REALLY sounds fake as hell. IMO, her only good scene so far was the "hand-bra" abuse scene she did last season. Even for cable, that was pretty edgy stuff. But anyway, I really like where this show is going and how well they've developed it over the past couple of seasons.

Saddest part last night: the girl with the bum leg. She thought that she could still run just fast enough. Looks like she was wrong. :( I thought that was a really sad scene.

P.S. I watched last week's episode of Talking Dead with Marilyn Manson as one of the guests. The other (non show) guest was Ozzy Osbourne's ne'er–do–well offspring, Jack Osbourne (who is known for nothing but being a loser celebrity kid and drug addict). But anyway, I had no idea that Marilyn Manson was a complete moron. I thought that maybe he was just quirky, but fairly sharp or witty (like Russell Brand). I was wrong. That guy was either drunk, on drugs or just naturally spaced out and really, really stupid. What a maroon!

Yeah, I thought Manson was high too. Chris Jericho was a much better guest last night.

I'm still catching up - I haven't seen last night's episode yet. Maybe tonight I can watch it. But Manson wouldn't shut his piehole and kept interrupting the woman who actually was a producer(?) on the show - like he knew more about the show than she did! I think (pretty sure) that Chris Hardwick was really sorry that they'd let that idiot come on and blather about nothing.

Read an interview with George Romero recently where he said he'd turned them down to direct some episodes, because he regards the show as basically a soap opera with occasional zombies.

Having just finished a zombie flick- I'm all zombied out.

He's jealous Walking Dead is a hit.

Manson is a nutjob. I'm surprised he is still alive.
He's fat, drugged out, and recently passed out on stage.

Also, he made a movie that has not been released that might put him jail.
I hope it does soon.

What does everyone think about Carol being banished by Rick?

Re: Does anyone else here watch The Walking Dead?

I think Rick made yet another bad decision, but it was a tough spot to be in. That said, he's know Carol a lot longer and I think he owed it to her to stand up for her.

But that said, Ty would have killed her if he'd found out. Dude is a total loose cannon w/ an apparent death wish.

I'm guessing Daryl is going to be pissed when he finds out about Carol and takes off to go find her.

There's a lot of setups occurring right now that I am hoping will pay off in a big event at some point soon. I'd really love to see every have to flee the prison. Getting tired of that crap.

Re: Does anyone else here watch The Walking Dead?

You couldn't just ask if anyone else watched the show.

Despite the fact the show has a massive thread which can be easily found on the board if you had got your thumb out your ass and searched for it.

But no, you had to drop a fucking spoiler in the first line of your fucking post you stupid mother fucker.

You've just made it to my ignore list for your simple lack of fucking courtesy to those who might be in another part of the world who might just be an episode behind.

I found last night's episode to be somewhat of a let down. Woo...Carol gets banished by Rick. Woo...Tyrone is gone all "hammer time" because his woman got killed. Has anyone not pieced together that the governor was the one hanging out in the college and the black medic dude stole his bottle of scotch? Where do you think those sick rats came from in the early episodes?

I'm waiting for season's end when the eye patch rolls up in a tank and starts blasting on the prison. Shit will really start to hit the fan. Until then, the rest of this "drama" to win an Emmy is just filler for me.
