The history of who created it and why it was created is pretty easily accessible; especially now with the internet. A fact that makes a supposed intelligent person's reliance on it as some sort of "word of God" pitifully sad.
I would like to see everyone in the world agree to take a 3 month hiatus from any organized religious activities and be required to do nothing but study documented historical underpinnings of their faith for that time.
If the remaining believers came back and honestly tried to push their beliefs as something more devine or spiritual then someone elses beliefs, we could conclude they refused to get on google and use that 3 months for historical study. Or the other conclusion is that they are just plain too stupid to separate fact from dressed up myths and parable. I guess the third would be they are intellectually dishonest.
