Latest head count has all 52 GOP Senators on board for Gorsuch with 7 Democrat defections. From red states that Trump won.

He'll be seated by Easter.

Maybe if Gorsuch gets filibustered into oblivion they can get together and share war stories.

The filibuster isn't a legitimate threat anymore thanks to the Harry Reid Option. The precedent has been set thanks to him. But that won't even be needed in this case. It may be in a few months when Justice Kennedy steps down. That's when the shift really begins in the court and my schadenboner dings the bell.

Ok this is serious.
Not just because it can lead to war with Iran and Russia but because it's setting a tone of Trump doing more of the same as Bush and Obama. Endless War.
He actually says "Iran's destabilizing behavior aa across the middle east".
The US GOV saying that? Is he fucking kidding? Nobody can even come close to the US for that honor.
2 minute statement from National Security Adviser Flynn.

I saw this video as soon as it hit the internet a few days. This is the attack he is talking about.

Ok wtf does this have to do with Iran?
A little boat probaly with 2 or 3 men, Yemini Houthis in it , nailed a Saudi WARSHIP off of Yemens coast.
So let me get this straight.
Saudi Arabia attacked Yemen.
Saudi Arabia is dropping bombs on Yemen on a daily basis. Targeted and killing civilians.
There is also a serious shortage of food in Yemen because of this.
These are war crimes. These are crimes against humanity. There is no way around that fact.

So a couple of Yemenis blow the shit out of a Saudi warship off it's coast that was there to do their country and its people harm and The USA is threatening Iran?
And thats assuming it was actually Houthis that did this.
We are on the wrong side..........again.
And I'm losing faith in Trump.

And I'm losing faith in Trump.

Did you somehow miss Trump's virulent disagreement with the Obama administration's nuclear deal with Iran?
The one that shut down their plutonium reactor, saw them give up most (all?) of their weapons grade uranium, and instituted international inspections of Iran's facilities as a hedge against them cheating.

I'm not sure how you could have missed it. Trump talked about it over and over and over again. I do believe he wants to trash the whole thing and go back to where we were before: meaning no international onsite inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities and reinstated sanctions. Which will of course lead to Iran developing a nuke within a matter of months, and feeling provoked into possibly using it. There's your potential WWIII buddy.

I was wondering ealier this morning when the tide will break. Trumps team can only go so long until they made so many of their voters and the repubican senators and congressmen and -women just go, "Okay, this is getting ridiculous, let alone dangerous beyond manageable."

That completely unprepared muslim ban he pushed out was a great example. If you want to do something like this, at least prepare it with your agencies.

Someone mentioned easter a few posts above. I am unsure if Trump will make it that far.

without using qoutes and typing with one finger.
no i did not miss it. I just figured it was because he gets his information from the mainsteam media.
his world view was shaped by their propanda and lies.
but he also stated in the debates and at other times that all these ars are a waste. that he's rather be friends than enemys.
even just the other day he told mccainiac and graham to stop provoking war.
So truth is his pov and actions so far on all this has me baffled and concerned.
And youre worried about iran having nukes? I understand. I'm not too much.
iran hasnt attacked another country in centurys.
unlike the usa and israel who have and who have nukes.
how many nukes does israel have? we don't know, they wont tell us.
And the usa? how many countries who didnt attack them have they attacked in the last 15 years alone.
Seems like theyre the aggressive and volitle ones to me.
in fact i see iran as one day having nukes as a possible good thing. make israel think twice before pushing any buttons "if they are threatened".
thats how i see it.
the war on terror is fake.

Supa. I'm not jumping ship just yet.
my concerns are only with this yemen situation as of now. other than that i think he's doing very well.
and its a legitimate concern. not like i'm saying he's a rapist, he hates women, he hates homosexuals ect ect ect.
i'm not succuming to the medias anti trump propaganda agenda.

Dont hope he fails sup. even if you think he's a total douche.
I only feel he's going in two different and opposite directions as far as middle east military involvement goes.

back to yemen. why is saudi arabia bombing the hell out of the.
yemen didnt attack them. didnt threaten them,
why is the us backing saudi on this?
its because the people of yemen dont want their US puppet regime.
they want to elect their own leaders. they want to sell their oil to whoever they want for whatever currency they want. not just the US FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE.
its the same shit, different place.

So truth is his pov and actions so far on all this has me baffled and concerned.

I think you're going to find he has a major hard on for Iran, and for undoing all that's been done to make them less of a nuclear threat.

And youre worried about iran having nukes? I understand. I'm not too much.

They were closing in fast on developing one. Big part of the impetus for the deal. And international sanctions weren't stopping them. So yeah I'm concerned. Or at least I will be if the deal is revoked and they go back to being an outcast, sanctioned nation operating completely in the dark.

how many nukes does israel have? we don't know, they wont tell us.

Yeah but the thing is, Israel has had nukes for a long time, and even though they've been provoked repeatedly through the years they've never used them.
Could Iran be trusted to do the same? Pretty hard to do so considering their hostility towards Israel - their unwillingness to accept Israel's legitimacy as a nation.

It wasn't a Muslim ban.

But it should be.

If people like Commander Speedoe lose faith in Trump, that may not be so bad actually.

Look at what this Trump presidency has produced in just a short time. Rachel Maddow now has something to talk about for the next 4+ years. Michael Moore, Cher, Madonna et al have risen from the grave.

Let's not forget about those protesters. Michaels, AC Moore, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts, Crayola, print shops all are surging in sales. Travel is booming also to attend these rallies. Journalism is making a comeback. Starbucks, Panera Bread, Chipotle Grill. The protesters are going to get a sammich and warm beverage for their gatherings. Overtime for the police also.

Trump promised to stimulate the economy. More jobs at home. The Trump brand is delivering on that.

Why would we be outraged? President Trump has taken Obama's list and is taking action on it. That list isn't set in stone, it can be expanded as well.

No, pointing out Obama's list was in response to the left's outrage to the "muslim ban."

Why does Trump copyrights Obama's list? Why is je doing the same mistake of not putting Saudi Arabia on the liste ?
Being allied with Saudi Arabia to fight radical Islam is like being allied with Soviet Union to fight comunism

Yeah. Even Star Trek is making a comeback.
This is hard to watch.

Good point. I think they used Barry's list to combat the media's attack on the order.
Why is Saudi Arabia not on the list?
They should be. But they also have the USA by the balls in a few ways.
Debt, investments in the US. Even blackmail. Saudis could really hurt the US if they wanted.
Plus the Saudi GOV has always been on board with busting up the middle east into small sections that are easily bullied.
They always have been.

Trump just woke up and twitted:
Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile.Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!

1st Now he's saying Iran is on notice for testing a missle. Just yesterday Flynn said they are on notice for shooting a Saudi Death Machine with a missle 3 days ago. Something Iran had nothing to do with.
On notice? Will it also go down on their permanent record?

2nd Whats "the terrible deal" got to do with this?

I think they are setting something up. Setting up a move. I think Trump has some bad counsel regarding this.

And like it or not Iran has the right to test a missle just like the Yeminis have theright to shoot a death machine off their coast which is there to do them harm.
Iran knows who's been trying to take out Syria for the past 5 years. And they know if they succeeded they were next. They saw what happened to other countries like Iraq, Afhanistan, Somalia, Libya, Yemen, ect ect ect.
Should they just lay down and accept the same fate?
And if I recall it wasn't Iran who overthrew the US GOV in 1953 and installed a puppet dictator.
Constantly threatening Iran. Looks like Trump may be heading for the same old program of starting shit with other countries. How does that help the American People Donald?
If he turns into just another puppet like Bush and Barry I'm tuning out permanently. I don't need this shit anymore.
Wakes up and the first thing he does at 6:30 in the morning is threaten another country. I didn't vote for that.

Spicer's off to a fine start.

First it was the whole size of the inaugural rant.
Now he's confused an attack on a Saudi naval vessel by Houthi rebels as an attack by Iran on a United States Navy vessel
Thankfully that got squared away fairly quickly, thanks to a reporter.
Fun fun fun! :)

Indeed, thanks to the reporter.
They have had plenty of time to charge their batteries and are well energized to start offering corrections. They sure as hell didn't do it for the previous 8 years.
