Great race. Great fight after the race
(well, more like two kittens fighting over a bowl of milk... but still). After watching qualifying, I was expecting both Hamilton and Vettel to lose grid positions because of violations. For the sake of the race, I'm glad that didn't happen, but I kind of feel like it should have.
I don't understand the rule that says that a driver can unlap himself. Let's say that Ocon had gotten by Verstappen cleanly. And in a couple of laps, let's say Verstappen had caught him again.
Then, they would have shown Ocon the blue flags, right? In my brain, that rule makes no sense. I understand that Ocon may have been racing other people for position on the track and wanted to advance up the road. But when you're a lap down and you're around the leaders, you really should take extra care. Course, by the same token, when you're leading and you're being stalked by a faster, charging backmarker (especially one who doesn't like you to begin with

, you have to think of the long game and not just be bound and determined to always stay in front of cars that you don't necessarily
need to stay in front of. I think that's the advice that Lewis was trying to give young Verstappen after the race.
If Red Bull gets a powerful and competitive unit from Honda next year, I still don't see Verstappen taking the championship from Hamilton (or Vettel). On the radio and by his behavior, he's still too immature to deal with a seasoned vet over the course of a championship season. He's damn fast and very talented. But sometimes (under pressure) he seems to have the maturity/mentality of a 12 or 13 year old boy. :crybaby:
