I like your thinking. I would like Lewis to win, but failing that Mark Webber. At the end of the day though, ABBA - AnyBody But Alonso.

ABBA has been my top pick for the past several races. I can't believe Hamilton, Webber and Vettel let that little prick get back in the WDC hunt! Truly amazing!

I have to give the little bastard a lot of credit for being such a focused, talented driver. But I still can't stand him. Other than Danican't Patrick, I don't think there's another driver in auto racing that I dislike as much or that whines as much as Alonso.

If Lewis can pull this WDC rabbit out of the hat, I'll probably drop dead of a heart attack. He almost killed me in 2008. This one would probably do it.

I just got done creaming my pants over Alonso and Ferrari screwing up what should have been a cake walk to the WDC. I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to warm to Vettel's smart-ass side. He's still reckless and annoying, but I actually am starting to like that when asked questions he very rarely gives stock answers, and instead usually turns the question on the interviewer. Example: Coulthard asks why he names his cars names like "Randy Mandy" Vettel responds something to the effect, "I don't know, I thought you were the expert on women."

I thought it was hilarious that Ferrari fucked up. This is the one thing about life they haven't quite gotten, what goes around comes around.

Maybe if Alonso was a better sportsman, maybe if Ferrari didn't do team orders, maybe if Alonso wasn't a whiney ass bitch who can't win unless it's spoon fed to him...maybe lady luck would have been kinder.

Ferrari are really doing things wrong. And they go for drivers that are plain assholes. Remember their driver Michaelk Schumacher, or as we germans who not fell blindly for his successes called him 'Schummel-Schumi' (Cheatie-Schumi). And they had to tell his co-drivers to step from the gas in order for their golden boy to pass on, when he could not make it on his own in a race.

Now they got that Alonso, what a guy.

Sadly, Sebastian Vettel is following Schumachers example, I even have the impression that Michael is some kind of mentor to him. Remember the interviews when his teammate Webbers birthday was coming along. He talked to the mike, full of glee, 'Yeah, I talked with Michael about what gift i could give him. I said, hey, why not one of those freebie shampoo bottles you get in hotel rooms. Michael said, don't forget too empty it before.'

Those guys are pathetic.

Which leads to the thought... do you do better if you are a bastard? I mean it took the new one to beat the older one, with mental assistance of the oldest one, didn't it? Even if the team of one of them was too thick to just reach the minimal goal.

Vettel was massively lucky that Petrov decided those were the only 30 laps all season where he wouldn't try to find racing lines that pass over gravel traps. I'd also like them to change the Abu Dhabi layout. That chicane before the hairpin needs to go, because overtaking is just impossible the way it is. If Alonso can't pass Petrov for 30+ laps, you know the track is bad.

Agreed, and Hamilton had a similar problem stuck behind the other Renault of Kubica.

But at least Hamilton is a better sportsman about it. Yea, it must have been bloody frusterating for both him and the team that he couldn't get passed Kubica...but I'd bet Hamilton would still shake the guy's hand for a well played race.

Vettel went for the win, while Alonso and Webber tried not to lose. Even though I was pulling for Webber (after Hamilton), I think the right guy won. And anyway, it had to be ABBA!!! :nanner:

BTW, after getting that lucky horseshoe yanked from his ass, Fernando has been raking Petrov over the coals in the press for not giving him a free pass. Speed Channel played a sound clip of Alonso whining over the radio several years ago when he was trying to pass his teammate, Fisichella. Like a spolied baby, he kept saying, "What more I have to do? What more I have to do?! He no let me pass!"... or something to that affect. Can't stand the bastard. I really can't. He expects people to just give him positions. He's a great driver, but I cannot stand him as a person!!!
