That's it! I've had it with Microsoft!!

I have no beef with XP. I only have the programs I regularly use on there and it runs pretty fast and I haven't had a virus in eons.

maybe you should give it another chance...

I've used Windows 3.1, 95, 98 ME, XP Home, and XP Pro. Working in I.T. now, I have to dabble in Mac OS, and I'm just not a fan. I'm staying right the hell away from Vista.

I started with the first version of Windows, the Executive. For some reason wasn't that called V.2? I had been using DOS before that and had every version since.

I'm pretty much OK with the stability of Windows XP, but Internet Explorer sucks ping pong balls. I'm much happier using Opera or Firefox.

I like Microsoft:D

Its a damn good thing, bill Gates was locked in lockers and beaten up

Strangely enough the first Windows was called Windows V.1 (1985). The first version of DOS I used was a giant leap forward. For the first time it included hard disk support.

I'm thinking back to about 1980 just after Gates stole his first product. :)

PC-DOS was the same as MS-DOS v.? It was 84' right after the Mac came out I think when he got the idea to steal the Mac OS. And like every version of Windows since, is a copy of Mac OS, except it's buggy and doesn't do as much as the Mac OS it's copied from.

See! It's not working. I can't click a link right now and get a page to open up. I guess this was one of the recent Windows updates I got last week. The kind that tells you in a box counting down that you have to restart your computer and even if you click "restart later", starts doing it again in 5 minutes. When you finally forget about it or answer the phone, it counts down and restarts by itself so you lose your work. Really poor design.

What a piece of crap!

Here's someone that likes Microsoft. He's a Microsoft billionairre.

Wait, there's no cashier section in that picture.
:1orglaugh

As usual, MS is getting way ahead of themselves trying to be #1.

Can you imagine the broken "table tops" as users try to fight through Windows etc.? :crash:

For the money I'd get one of THESE and just put my "widdle pc" on it.

I didn't like Windows98, switched to XP and on the rare cases of errors, the system just fixes itself. I love it! For now I'm staying clear of Vista, too many horror stories.

I also love my Xbox360 and all those shenanigans.

If I had the money to do so, I'd change to a mac, in fact the next home computer I buy may be a mac if I can only find a good deal on one.
