Orange County Sheriff's Department says it arrested Hope Jacoby, 23, on suspicion of engaging in sex acts with an underage boy. She has worked with athletes at the school for a year.

The boy in question is 14-17 yrs of age and his hot athletic trainer wanted to have sex with him. What did they expect him to do, say no to every high school boys dream? Ofcourse it was illegal for Hope Jacoby to have sex with him but the boy just did what any healthy boy would have done.

I don't think it's right that they released her name and picture unless she is convicted. Even if she is found innocent her 'career' is probably over.

Even I'm saying he's a lucky boy but if it was a 23 year old male teacher having sex with a 15 or 16 year old girl I'd probably be outraged. I guess that's the result of a mostly male oriented society.

I don't think she did anything that was illegal or terrible.

But stuffy PTA's won't ever hire her just because she was accused.


My point was that police should never release names and/or photos of the accused (for any crime) unless they are convicted.

I might be outraged also because of the possibility of teenaged pregnancy and a father that runs from his responsibility.
There is less chance of that with an older woman/teenage boy scenario.
