Texas Dad Beats Daughter's Molester to Death

Ya know, he might just have a decent chance in all of this. People have killed their children's attackers before, and walked. Sometimes it's difficult for a court to get jurors to convict in situations like this. Sometimes prosecutors won't even try, for fear of their future political careers.

Lets hope.

Many years ago, a man premeditated the murder of his sons molester, and shot him in the head, in a crowded airport, while he was being escorted by police.......he didn't serve a day, and the prosocutor didn't even try, because she/he said, plain and simple, no jury would convict him.

Have you ever read John Grisham's A Time To Kill?

There should be a way to charge the father with very attuned charges...

I share the support for the father and the hope that the court does the right thing by him.

On a related issue, check out this story:
http://e-watchman.com/jehovahs-witnesses-news/2012/6/15/watchtower-loses-big-time.html

So "the written policy of Watchtower New York, Inc., which instructed all Elders in Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregations in the United States to keep reports of child sex abusers within Jehovah’s Witnesses secret to avoid lawsuits."

My question is when is some version of the Justice Dept going to have the guts to prosecute one of these religious organizations (Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholic Church, etc) under RICO organized crime statutes when they are shown to be operating child molestation mills.

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
He will never offend again. :hatsoff: Another great reason to bring back the electric chair and speed up death penalties.

They are looking for family of the rapist in Mexico. I hope he turns out to be an illegal Mexican.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Have you ever read John Grisham's A Time To Kill?

No. I tend to not read anything that's not a true story. Never read a single book by Steven King, or any of the other popular writers. But I do like true crime...mostly serial killers though, and the psychology of who they are, and what they do.

On a related note, I've always thought it would be a good thing to have a prison just for pedophiles in each state. These guys are mentally ill, and they can't be cured. Some can control it better than others, but once you've done something, I find it hard to believe that you'd never do it again. My feeling is, once you've committed an overt act, you are sent to the pedophile prison for the rest of your life. I'd make it somewhat minimum security, and allow visitors....I wouldn't make it a hardcore prison, but a place that these sickos are just sent to be removed from society.

They can't be cured, their societal impact can only be minimized.

I feel the father should be charged for killing a cm. Molester or not anyone who takes a life should be charged no doubt.

Banned?
While he will never get over having to witness his own daughter being raped, I bet he'll sleep a lot better knowing he served justice himself instead of just catching him, putting him in jail, and watching him get released 10 years later. I know I'd feel better, anyway.

Really? Congrats for killing someone?

No, protecting his daughter and every other child out there from this predator. The system doesn't protect children from these monsters, they get released back into society only to re-offend. Children who get molested have a higher change of becoming molesters themselves, so the cycle will never end until these fuckjobs either get life in prison (which'll never happen) or they all die off. This guy did the world a favor. I'll never think killing is ok, but you can't argue that this guy was using self defense (it counts as self when you have to step in for your young child)...if a woman was being raped and she managed to attack her rapist back and accidentally killed him, should she be charged for self defense? I think not.
