If he died at 73 then what does that say for the slogan "The good die young?".
Guess someone wasn't so good?

I always felt that the, 'good die young,' slogan: was alluding to reckless- 'rebels,' like a James Dean, or a Jim Morrison. Or the tortured-artist, type. Not, religious-preachers. That is my subjective-opinion.

"Only the good die young. All the evil seems to live forever"

cheers,

I've heard the name before, but I really have no idea who he was.

Allot of you seem to hate him, why did anyone listen to what he had to say?

I don't hate him, but clearly think he felt it was okay to make up his own rules and interpretations on everything politically charged. He got a lot of resistance on those ideas. I felt he was just another cookie cutter evangelist.

I think there's a Wikipedia link in this thread that talks about some of the controversy.
