i like tattoos....on other people
I hope someday scientists invent a painless way to get one
i don't understand what's the big deal
i don't understand what's the big deal
People that have several, or are heavily tattooed, didn't get their art for other peoples enjoyment. They did it for themselves, and as a way to express themselves, and as in my case, don't really care if anyone else likes it, because much like piercings, or long hair on a guy, or any other thing that society sees as different, is not the way you should judge another. It used to be, that if a guy had long hair, he was a dirty hippie, but that didn't mean he couldn't do a good job, at whatever job he was trying to do. A few years ago, I saw some guy with a shitload of piercings, including those big holes they put in their ears. I commented to my wife how fucking ridicules it looked, and her reply was, "yeah, but he doesn't have any tattoos", which I do, and she gave me a look pointing out how much of a hypocrite I was being...and she was right.
I don't get the big deal about tattoos personally. So can never see myself getting one. I don't mind some tattoos on women (Scarlet LaVey or Dors Feline for instance), its their body not mine ultimately so in most cases they don't bother me. I'm certainly not turned on by them though. Excessive amounts of tattoos can make a woman less physically appealing somewhat. Bonnie Rotten, as gorgeous as she is, those tatts around her nipples are a bit much for me, which is the main reason I have never gotten into her work. But as they say each to their own.
Dalene Kurtis, huh? So SHE's the one, eh? A name that will live in infamy. The one :troll2:cestmoi2010 said:Before Dalene Kurtis, Playmates had to have pubic hair. Some were clenly shaven but made to grow hair by Playboy. That all changed after Dalene and in her PM layout they shot it to avoid showing a massive butterfly tramp stamp. After her - bare pubes and tatts become standard for Playmates.

at one time i thought Janine was one of the prettiest creatures i ever put my eyes on. then she became a walking tattoo
I can stand some little tattoos, but a lot is a mess

You know i've been thinking about this...
I get that they do it for themselves as a form of self expression. But arent they also doing it for other people to see? Like Guilty Valentine posted a pic of Leanne Crow and Rachel Aldana and they have tattoos with words. Did they get those tattoos for themselves? so that people would see them, read them and comment on it (or think to themselves) what an insightful phrase it must be? I dont think they are going to look down and read some upside down (from their own perspective) phrase on themselves or look at it in the mirror and read it backwards. Or what about tattoos of faces like the virgin mary or alice in wonderland like how Leanne has? do people look down at their own arms, look at their upside down (again from their perspective) tattoos of the virgin mary or alice? do they look in the mirror to admire their own tattoos? or are those tattoos there for other people to look at as well? Same thing for tattoos in not-so-easy to view places. I know someone that has a tattoo on her lower back but she stays fully clothed a lot of time like not a lot of revealing clothing. But when she goes to the beach people see it and no doubt people banging her from behind get to see it as well. Facial tattoos? same thing there.
LOL just saw that bubb posted the same thing like an hour ago
I don't know if you were just joking there, but NO ... it is definitely not very or slightly or ANY kind of important in American Society for adults to be tattooed. Nobody will ever be able to sell me any idea, reasoning or logic as to why I as an American adult should get so much as a freakin' micro DOT of a tattoo.bubb said:Although I cannot speak for RosyPalms I don't think I am either over or under thinking this. Although I cannot speak for RosyPalms I don't think I am either over or under thinking this. It is now very important in at least American Society for Adults to be tattooed. Academics spend careers examining these type of things. I just wonder about motivation and why certain trends become explosive and others die a cruel lonely death. Not meaning to badmouth anyone, so please don't take it that way. I don't like tattoos and a lot of other things that I have had to become used to in my moderately long life.
