The Bears are not playing too well this year. I'm watching the Denver and Colts. The Colts just walk right down the field and score. It blows me away at how much ease they can move the football.

this is my 700th post and i'm going to make it an effective one.

The Oakland Raiders are going to the playoffs,... yea i fuckin said it.
The Chargers ain't shit
The Chiefs ain't shit
The Broncos aren't taking the division

Oakland Raiders... 2008 AFC WEST champions

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

EVERY year, someone predicts great things for the Raiders, and every year, it's 6-10 or worse lately. I think the AFC west is an absolute crap shoot as to who is going to win it, but so far, my Chiefs (who share the same record as your Raiders) have a 1-0 mark in the division. And that was a ROAD victory today in SD.

So, I guess what I'm saying is... let's just see in December how things are shaping up, eh? I'm not one for bold predictions.

The past few years the Raiders' defense hasn't been that bad. It's the other side of the ball that's the biggest problem. I think this year they are just bad offensively instead of abysmal and that has made them improve.

At the beginning of the year I though San Diego had so much talent that not even Norv Turner could find a way to screw up and loose with them. Norv Turner is proving me wrong.

Prediction: After much bitching by the fans the Bears finally give in and draft a quarterback next year in the first day of the draft. Being the Bears they will almost assuredly find a way to pick one of the people out of a above average quarterback class that will be a bust, or they will just suck so damn much in developing him he won't make it.

Just one thing to say: Same Old Jets (it's a saying around here)

i can hear all the raider fans leaving their hiding places now.

they have too much talent to not turn this around. if the players take control, they would be okay. unless rivers takes lead. :1orglaugh

donovan mcnabb will be going to chicago.

Doing pretty damn good if you ask me :D

I don't think they have that much talent. Sure, they have LT and Gates but after that they have average receivers at best and Rivers is making really bad decisions. The defense is decent but they got beat handily by Larry Johnson and a bunch of rookies yesterday.

Norv Turner....what's left to say that hasn't been said. :pukey:

thats all they need to get back to the playoffs. only the patriots and colts are locks. then with the ravens, steelers, and bengals all beating on each other, one or two of them will fall. its key next week for the chargers. they must beat denver.

Damon Huard and Tony Gonzalez could hardly be called 'rookies', Peter. :glugglug:

shit, I forgot Gonzalez but Huard just became a starter last season. Yeah alright, but SD of last year would have crushed them. Just sayin....:dunno: Norv Turner has a proven track record of losing in the NFL, they should have never hired him.

Yeah, but Huard's also been in the league (starter or not) for over 10 years. Also, we split with the Chargers of last year (We won the first meeting 30-27, and they won the second 20-9 :D )

We do have some other veteran talent, but you're right for the most part- tons of youth and rookies on the chiefs this year. Thankfully we cut loose the waste of a draft pick in Justin Medlock before it was too late.

And yes- as an Offensive coordinator, Norv Turner's pretty good (especially when he has Emmit Smith, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, and Jay Novacek), but as a head coach... :nono:

...and moose johnston, and alvin harper, and the best offensive line in the business, and a defense that would give norv the comfort. a chimp could have ran that dallas team and won. :1orglaugh

Is Romo "the real deal" or nothing more then a scrappy, unorthodox player who will soon become his own worst enemy?
