Surprised U.S fisherman catches world's most dangerous shark half a mile inland
When Willy Dean went out fishing on the Potomac River in the U.S. last week he wasn't expecting to catch an eight-foot Bull shark.
But that is exactly what he found when he attempted to pull in his nets on Tuesday morning near Point Lookout State Park in Southern Maryland.
Mr Dean had been hoping to land a few cow-nosed rays but instead had the shock of his life when he found the mammoth Bull shark, described by the National Geographic as 'the most dangerous in the world', caught in his nets.

Commenting on his remarkable catch, Mr Dean said: 'When I first seen it, it was like Jaws — we need a bigger boat!'
He added: 'I’m not kidding you. It looked huge. I didn’t know how we were gonna get it out.
'It’s my first shark. I’ve been fishing here a little over 30 years, and it’s the first time I’ve even seen one.'

The fisherman said it was 'quite a fight' trying to bring the shark in from the nets on Tuesday.
He added he was thinking of having the eight-foot shark's head mounted.
As for the rest of the fish, he declared: 'Right now, the shark's in the freezer.'
Remarkably another Bull shark was found on the same day a few miles up the Potomac River in Tall Timbers.
While no pictures have yet to surface of the second shark, reports say it too was about eight foot in length.
