A Monterrey Melt Combo from Whataburger. Awww MAN! Fuck! That Monterrey Melt was orgasmically good! :drool2: I had never had one before. Now I think I want to have one at breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. :drool1:  :coolthumb:

A Grande Burrito w/Steak from La Salsa over on Pico/Sepulveda. Heck yeah!

I love that stuff. Now I'm momsick.

I'm one guy that's glad my mother-in-law lives with us. My taste buds have adjusted to Filipino Food and she also knows my favorite dishes that she cooks. The only thing I don't care for is milk fish but I've never been the biggest fan of fish with the exception of sushi. She makes great beef stew no matter whether it's with tomato or peanut sauce.

As far as the Filipino TV I've been watching Pangako Sa'yo religiously. David is about to die but he gave his blessing to Yna and Angelo all the while the evil Claudia/Greta is weaving her web in a revenge plot against Amor. Looking forward to how it will be revealed that Amor and Yna are mother and daughter.

Right now I'm going all out. I made an entire package of bacon, took a couple of hours last night to make my own large batch of refried beans, am making a good amount of tater totts, and will get going on the eggs made in the left over bacon grease shortly. I plan on combining them into breakfast burritos I will be eating for most of the week. I'm thinking about adding some smoked cheese in with them to see how it goes.

Had some great Vietnamese Food at Mama Hong's on Wilshire between Barrington and Westgate on the north side of the street in Brentwood. The wife had a huge bowl of Filet Mignon Pho Soup and I had Rib Eye with rice and a salad. As an appetizer we had these amazing Sriracha Hot Wings that were spicy and sweet with a nice crunch. I coulda eaten a barrel of those things. Friendly service and free parking for 90 minutes with validation. I really wanted to get into Vietnamese Food and now found a place we like that's close to the house. I'll also be heading there for take-out in the future as well as going back to dine.

Was King of the Board for a Day
I pureed some cauliflower into rice, sauteed that in a pan with some crushed garlic, olive oil, butter, salt, pepper, and freshly grated Romano. I had some homemade pizza sauce left over and poured a bunch of that over the cauliflower when it was done. I nuked some asparagus and opened up and drained a can of tuna and ate that all together. 'Twas delish.

Tonight I halved some peppers, mixed together some white beans, some more of that cauliflower rice, the remainder of the homemade pizza sauce, and some sauteed garlic collard greens and put that in the peppers. I grated some Romano over that shiz and baked it in the oven.

This sounds like something you can make when you have little time, I will definitely use this idea :)

Chart House In Marina Del Rey
Caesar Salad, Prime Rib(Callahan Cut), Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Lava Cake, Bottle Of Cabernet Sauvignon

Before the Great Family Conflagration, my relatives would always take me down to Marina del Rey (Marina del ME! :D) for dinner when I was in SoCal. I like that area. Good food and great scenery. If I came out there now, somebody would probably put a hit on me while I was scarfing down my filet mignon.
