We need to discuss the half time show. Now I'm not saying Springsteen sucks, I'm just sick of seeing 60 year old rock stars on stage in tight pants shaking their asses.

But your not going to get a "wardrobe malfunction" with Springsteen.

It looked like a fumble to me. There was no way Warner had control of the ball when it was coming forward even if was still touching his hand. In the post game interview even Warner didn't challenge the fact it was a fumble when asked about that play.

Whether or not it was a fumble, why wouldn't they take a look at it just to be sure and to avoid controversy?I think we know why.

well, the poll may be moot, but the game was solid...
too bad the referees had to get as involved as they did... supposed to be a game the players decide, isn't it?

& then at the end, to NOT stop & review the fumble? even if it came out the same call, the duty to all would be to make sure it was known it was reviewed.

bummer for the Cards, but worst for Kurt Warner if he doesn't 'have enough' to get it over the hump for the Hall because of this loss!

Keyshawn Johnson and Cris Carter are on ESPN crying about why the last play wasnt reviewed upstairs.....after watching that play 20 times, I agree with them-that WASNT a fumble!!!:nono:

Personally, I think it was a fumble, but they should've at least reviewed it. I mean, it's the FUCKING SUPER BOWL!!!

Yes, but since they got the call right it doesn't bother me anywhere near what some people are. Because of that it’s a pretty minor issue. It's like they want to complain just to do it. If it's a moot point then it doesn't really matter other than a procedural issue. Some people are trying to make that to be the reason Arizona might have lost which is laughable.

The refs did get involved a lot with this game, but you have to blame the players for that. They made a lot of stupid penalties. What are the refs supposed to do? Not calling penalties that were done can be just as big as calling them when they do happen and can have just as much impact on the game.

Well according to ESPN the last play has been confirmed as a fumble.................but I still have my doubts.

Regardless, great game.Congrats to Steelers on number 6 and congrats to the Cards on a incredible season and going farther then anyone would have thought the would.

Cards could of won.

3 defenders standing in front of Holmes just fucking around. Congrats to the Steelers but I know we all wanted the Cards to get the win. And the Vince Lombardi trophy looks like a corny hunk of shit trophy. The Stanley Cup, now thats a trophy.

P.S. I thought NBC's coverage was horrible! It was the Super Bowl but they made it feel like regular Sunday Night Football.

To give the Cardinal defenders credit the play too a long time to develop and Roethlisberger bought some more time for the receivers. Even for the best people that play in the defensive backfield there is only so long you can reasonably cover anybody before they get open. Plus it took the perfect pass and a catch on the tips of his toes to get it.

i missed the final and i was wondering how did Ben Graham go for the cardinals? over in australia their was allot of talk about him in it being the first aussie to ever play in one.

Give it up for the old man Warner: 31-43, 377, 3, 1. Santonio grabs the MVP on a non-debatable TD reception. But the Cards put up a great game. Good SB this year, but too many penalties. Congrats to Tomlin, LaBeau, Arians, the rest of the coaching staff, trainers, popcorn vendors, and of course the Steel Town Heroes. See 'ya next season! :wave2:

Not bad. He was the first Aussie to appear in the Bowl. His punting was pretty decent. He punted 5 times for a 36.0 average, but put 3 of them inside the 20. That means he had a pretty damn good day.

Yeah in Australia they gave him so much praise and crap it bored the hell out of me. They were practically saying here 'Pittsburgh Steelers vs Ben Graham'. And on yahoo.com.au (it's gone now but) they bloody said Ben Graham's first Superbowl dream crashed blah blah and they also said Steelers defeated Ben Graham and "his" Cardinals. I mean c'mon yeah he's aussie and we should be proud he played but don't give him all the credit. Don't make him seem as if he's the best player in the friggen NFL. He's just a punter...

Anyway enough of Graham. I knew Pittsburgh would win. Though I did have a little doubt when there was about 2mins 30secs left of the game and they were down 20-22. I'm happy with 27-23. Good match.

Btw, what teams do all of you go for? Mine's Dallas.

After last year's SB I thought I won't see another one that was as exciting, but this year comes pretty damn close if not more. There were lots of penalties and both teams couldn't close the deal and gave up crucial TDs down the stretch. At one point I was sure that Cards would win because Steelers couldn't do jack on offense for 3rd Q and most of 4th Q and their vaulted D got shredded by Fitzgerald and Warner in the 2nd half. If there was another 2 mins on the clock I can see Cards scoring the game winning TD but that's the way life goes sometimes.

BTW that was a fumble and even if wasn't it'd take a hail mary type of pass to have get the ball into the end zone, so the Cards are screwed either way.

My favorite team is the Niners which I have supported since 1987. I hope they will be the next team to get their 6th title.

Yeah but we got more now don't we? I don't see another Super Bowl in the 49ers future any time soon.

Oh, it was a total joke. Not once did I feel like I was watching the Super Bowl until the final few minutes of the game. Even then, it had nothing to do with the coverage, it was just an exciting chain of events that happened during the game.

I don't know if I just completely missed it, but why weren't there player introductions before the game?

Horrible coverage. I hope they don't have the Super Bowl for next year.
