My question is Pitsburg D overrated or is the Cards offense that good cause They looked good against So-so offenses but against a very good offense they had a let down

The Cards offense is that good, now all they need to do is improve their defense.

Its not bad they are just missing a piece or two, another good passrusher and another good corner if they wanna kept Antrell Rolle at Safety

I am gonna go out on a limb here but if Kurt Warner retires, the cards definitely won't be back to the SuperBowl..........maybe not even in the playoffs unless Lineart pulls a Carson Palmer and looks 100 times better then his last start

The Cards shouldn't have been in the game to begin with. I don't think Warner will retire. Why would he? He can still pull a paycheck. He likes the fame and spotlight as all pro athletes do. If he retires the Cardinals have to find another QB to backup Leinart. He will come back even if he stinks up the field next year and gets benched. What else is he going to do? He's not really coach material.

The Steelers didn't close this game out. It was closer than it should've been.

I'll take that one step further: I'll say they won't even make it back to St. Louis!

He always looks that way.

Yes, but he probably also always has one to many. ;)

It was a good game, at time both teams did good plays to stay in there and also at times did everything in their power to blow it for themselves. Warner is a lot better than Lineart. I think Lineart was so used to open receivers and having all day to throw at USC that he just can't make the reads like Warner can at this point even if he is physically better. Arizona needs a running game though. Not having one hurts, and a defense that doesn't constantly bend would be good also.

Pittsburg needs to start getting a younger and better offensive line. That was one of the things that I noticed most about them this game. Arizona's defensive line isn't that great but they got through way too much on plays where they should have been stopped for a few more seconds. Pittsburgh’s running game isn't what it once was either. That will catch up to Pittsburg sooner or later. I also didn't like the way Pittsburg secondary started playing soft in the late third and fourth quarters.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Nobody thought the Cardinals would win, and they didn't. BUT...they did make it a very interesting and exciting Super Bowl.

That was very, very good game and I'm glad that the better team won.

Keyshawn Johnson and Cris Carter are on ESPN crying about why the last play wasnt reviewed upstairs.....after watching that play 20 times, I agree with them-that WASNT a fumble!!!:nono:

It looked like a fumble to me. There was no way Warner had control of the ball when it was coming forward even if was still touching his hand. In the post game interview even Warner didn't challenge the fact it was a fumble when asked about that play.
