I'm gonna chime in here, even though it doesn't really matter.

I can see both sides. There have been men who've posted about having affairs, wanting to cheat etc, and I've voiced my opinion that they are straightup dicks in their threads (as I'm sure many of us have) .... and no one ever seems to frown on that. I don't think us girls having a pink name should exempt us from others opinions on us, our behaviour etc, especially if we post about it. So STDiva, IMO, has the right to voice his opinion over a thread topic. We all are. Thats what forums are for right- voicing opinions.

But I can understand why Harley would feel undeserving of some of the names and language that was sent in her direction. I mean, the only person who REALLY has the right to be pissed about the affair and call her such names as "cunt", would be her spouse amirite? I will never agree with cheating, and yes, I think its a horrible thing for her to do...but to call her a cunt just seems to be going too far. Voicing an opinion is one thing, verbally abusing is another.

So in the end...STDiva is right and so is Harley. STDiva has the right to voice his opinion of her thread posts, and Harley has the right to feel offended by them. They don't have to see eye to eye, and since neither feels they owe each other an apology, then this thread is going to go around in circles so wouldn't it be best to just like...move on? Life is too short to engage in silly internet forum battles.

Why are a persons "rights" an issue here? It's the Ladies Night argument. A bar doesn't have a right to say that women can have drink specials and men cannot, that's discrimination. However, unless a guy doesn't want lots of girls showing up, a guy should ignore the oversight and enjoy the company of girls having a party at Ladies Night.

The guy who shows up and complains that his rights are compromised and starts causing problems generally can expect to be told he's a dumb fuck and hope not to get his ass kicked.

I believe the jerk guys rights are trumped by everyone else interested in having a party. I honestly believe the trolls here are intimidated by women and hope to scare them away by being rude to them. They seem much more comfortable blabbing with other trolls about stupid topics. Who want's the forum to be all about that?

If people are so interested in freedom of speech related rights, why not post on a legal issues forum? The internet is a big place.
