There are a billion things one can do which affects others. Merely watching a television show affects others who might rely on that show or it's advertising for employment. The question is when it comes to personal choice, are your personal choices violating the RIGHTS of others?? If your choices don't infringe on the rights of others (not their tastes or feelings or wants but RIGHTS) why is it a government's business in a so called "free" society?
Specious arguments citing some emotional hurt by family members suffering the results of a loved one's poor choices are laughable IMO as there is no such right recognized here in the U.S. against emotional hurt caused by the loss of a loved one at the hands of the loved one.
i hate canada's ridiculous never ending hockey coverage. how much coverage can one station have over the nhl draft? every other clip apparently.
