Spartacus: Blood And Sand/Gods Of The Arena

I knew Melitta would die, because Oenomaeus talks about it in Blood And Sand. They just surprised me as how. Good episode, but short on gladiator action. I was curious as to how Gannicus would leave the Lutus. It didn't happen the way I thought, either. I knew Titus was finished as well....again they surprised me. So I give Episode 5 an A+ on surprise, and a C on action.:2 cents:

Just watched--again--the last episode of Blood And Sand. Spartacus, Crixus and others really fucked things up for Batiatus. Oh...he's dead. So how will the sequel go next year??

Spartacus: Vengeance premieres January 27, on Starz.

Been checking this out for a while. Worth the watch?

Absolutely. This serie is fabulous, excellent, magnificent, superb, breath taking, blood chilling, orgasmic!!!

Watch it.

Just one thing: you need to love stunning women, and gladiators (less important, but that's what the serie is bout).

No, honestly: I'm a hugh fan. I've always been into Roman history. The serie is not historically correct (most af the gladiators die in the arena, while this wasn't the fact in old Rome), but it does show how they were trained, how the people gained power, even in the Senate. It shows how the system worked, the buildings were painted.
And it's filmed the same way "300" was produced...

Now without telling you all details, this should convince you if you like the ancient Roman empire.

Yeah, my bro back in high school used to tell me to watch it all the time but all he ever talked about was all the sex. Guess I'll have to check it out then, I'm convinced!

Re: Spartacus: Blood And Sand/Gods Of The Arena/Vengeance

Watching the premiere of Vengeance right now on Starz On Demand. Must be some kinda advanced special or something. Turns out the gladiators--led by Spartacus, played well so far by Liam McIntyre,--are tearing ass all over Capua. This is pissing off the Praetor Glaber who kidnapped him in the first place, and he is under pressure from above to quell the rebellion. To do so, he is pressing remnants of the House Of Batiatus. Meanwhile, Crixus is trying to find his lost love Naevia who he believes to have been sold. NUDITY NEWS: Plenty of it with standard brothel scenes, plus hottie Viva Bianca as Ilyithia again regales us with her breasts and a glimpse of her bush. Lucy Lawless???? Maybe...

Yess, finally...

Counting of the days till January 28th!

Just watched the trailer and it still looks awesome. Just Liam McIntyre, although very well casted, will never be the perfect replacement of Andy Whitfield. I'll miss him in this series. :(
