Flow my teares by John Dowland (1563-1626)

Flow my teares fall from your springs,
Exilde for euer: Let mee morne
Where nights black bird hir sad infamy sings,
There let mee liue forlorne.

Downe vaine lights shine you no more,
No nights are dark enough for those
That in dispaire their last fortuns deplore,
Light doth but shame disclose.

Never may my woes be relieued,
Since pittie is fled,
And teares, and sighes, and grones my wearie dayes, my wearie dayes,
Of all ioyes haue deprived.

Fro the highest spire of contentment,
My fortune is throwne,
And feare, and griefe, and paine for my deserts, for my deserts,
Are my hopes since hope is gone.

Harke you shadows that in darcknesse dwell,
Learne to contemne light,
Happie, happie they that in hell
Feele not the worlds despite.

(I had to replace my yesterday's post due to a wrong link in the song title. It is correct now, so you can listen to the sample)

You are the Sunshine of my life by Stevie Wonder.
I don't know why but all the women in my life that have meant a great deal to me have sung it to me. My mom when I was a kid, my grandma too and now recently my girlfriend. It's a little freaky that this song follows me in a way, but it's all good.
Thanks.

Art of Noise - Moments in Love Which I mentioned in another thread.

R. Kelly - In the Closet (I was going thru a breakup, was driving back and forth to Florida for 3 days without sleep, and when I got back I slept 4 hours and stayed pretty much drunk for the next year. No guff.)

Simply Red - Holding Back the Years (lonely nights and cheap booze)

Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile (2CD set put on repeat from start to finish) Although.. I'm fond of the wretched to arouse those feelings of utter rage.

Anything with Billy Mackenzie singing on it, as although it is wonderful listening to it, you are constantly reminded that there will sadly be no more to come.

"Black" by Pearl Jam reminds me of my first love. ("And all I ever taught her was....everything")
"Far behind" by Candlebox reminds me of my last ex-gf
