I'll take smooth, sexy rock, plz.

Me, if I were in the 70s and lofi livestreams werent invented, yet:
Gerry Rafferty, and by extension stealer's wheel.. softer side of clapton/cream, PETER FRAMPTON! (His blues album in 2019 was very decent :) )

Some America, definitely old chicago (transit authority)

I'm just your average stressed out guy who wants soothing audios to plays froms mys radios, sirs. :)

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Gotta have a little Tull to fill out the picture.

Maybe just one more....one of my favorites. John Glasscock was a great bass player, no one remembers.

There was so much great stuff coming out in those years.
If you were a kid back then like I was it really helped having older siblings or cousins to expose you to the music.
I don't really remember hearing any Rock radio stations until the later 70's , before that I only remember AM Pop music stations which were good but they didn't play too much Rock.

Marc Bolan and his band, T-Rex :)

Look carefully, in "Children Of the Revolution" you'll see both Elton John and Ringo Starr. :)

To add a bit more structure to this, as I mentioned before, I am posting my "Fave Five"

They aren't all from the narrow path of what you call rock, but, hey, I guess you can take it :)

1. Sticky Fingers - The Rolling Stones

2. Rumours - Fleetwood Mac

3. Back in Black - AC/DC

4. Supafly - Curtis Mayfield

5. (Has yet to be decided)

Hands down the best phase the Rolling Stones were in, ever.

From an album that made the best out of the band tearing apart - and a hymn.

Well, it is not easy to pinpoint a specific AC/DC song as the best, they deliver so many jewels. But this song stands for the band coming back from the loss of Bon Scott, and proving you can really rock away the blues.

This is from the album I can hear every day, and never get tired. Mayfield was one of the giants.
