The mods do their best. I am just not sure what really needs "modding", though. This isn't a family-friendly board and other than legal issues (people posting libelous claims or attacking/stalking OSCMs), what action is really necessary? The board is best / most entertaining when it becomes something like 4chan-lite

Being perfectly serious now, the board is fine, the reason people might find it boring is because they've probably been a member here too long and/or perhaps they frequent here too often and they've seen the same questions asked a half a dozen times over... this in turn causes irritability and restlessness among some members, there's not much you can do for them.
Really, if you were to poll the newer members (or members who don't post on a frequent basis) of this forum about the quality of the forum in general, I'm sure you'll get an impressively high number of ":thumbsup:" votes. - just sayin
On another note, I think that political issues should not be entertained in the talk section... why? IMO, They're too polarizing and they seem to drag down the entire TALK area of the forum. On most days, political issues are the last thing I want to have to wade through when looking through the talk section and I'm sure the feeling is mutual among other forum members.

Try this: create a new section for political threads.
In 30 days, there will be less than a handful of regular contributors, or (more likely) the section will be vacant.
I don't believe in this theory. Yes, a new section that seperates the serious political issues from the porn talk might be an idea. However, I don't agree taht a majority of people posting here wouldn't visit that section. Actually, some of us might actually post more in that section then in the porn talk section. Sometimes people like a good debate and bring up arguements to discuss a topic. Not necessarily political topics, but certainly topics that get the newspaper.

I was referring to political threads only (this is somewhat subjective, sure), and keeping news /current events in FreeOnes Talk. I personally have nothing against political threads - just discussing the idea.
