Full (wide) v. thin ...

First off, people should consider if a woman is "thin" and not "full" (wide). Yes, some "thin" women have serious hips, but they are extremely "thin" at the mid-section and belong in this thread:

Some of these are good ones for this thread, even if borderline.

Brandy Taylor and Whitney Stevens are definitely ideal examples for this thread based on full/wide. Although I don't know how you call Whitney as "chubby," especially when you didn't call Brandy the same either. Whitney is still very slender for her size, just wider and fuller.

Dawn Allison could really be in either -- she's about as boney, tight and ripped a fuller, wider women could be, but she's still got that tiny mid-section due to the same - borderline full, definitely thin.

I think we have different definitions as I'd definitely not refer to either of them as slender ("slender" and "thin" are the same in my book; as are "voluptuous" and "chubby" -- hey, we've been livin' in a "heroin chic" world since the 80's). I'm just trying to draw some lines somewhere, so people who like thin women aren't bitching and men who want wider curves are not seeing too much ribcage. Others want serious plumpers that are Big Beautiful Women (BBW).

A woman can be slender and athletic, while still full and wide in form.

So I use the term "slender" to describe a woman with at least a small stomach (if not flat). The reason is that excessive weight gain that the body is not designed to hold and, therefore is medically unhealthy, is shown in the protrusion of the stomach.

Women who are "thin" are those who are not wider, regardless of their stomach protrusion. I.e., I've seen wide/full women of double digit sizes that are more healthy than women of a size 6, 4 or even 2 that are just very thin, but have a gut.

This started as a fork from the "Big beautiful women (BBW)" thread, when some rather slender/fit women that were just "wide" and had flat stomaches that were thrown in with women that were clearly with excessive cellulite on their stomaches. More specifically, it was when one OCSM questioned why she was being thrown in the same pit as others.

The last is the reason I finally forked this new thread from it. ;)

Full figured means a fuller figure, which is typically wider -- women incapable of being below a size 10 or 8 in the best case, at their most fit. Then I further clarified they should not be chubby, with serious stomach protrusion, so not those size 20+ (unless they are really tall I guess).

To me they are all BBW. THat's why I felt maybe people like Whitney Stevens etc would end up in your "FFW w/ tummy" thread, and people like Ava Devine would be here in slender & voluptuous, and your Jamie Hammers in the Thin thread.

How about this? What if you told Jamie she was "full figured"?

Typically "full figured" is based on the size of a woman, as in traditional dress size. A "full figured" woman fits in larger dress sizes.

A woman can be thin, not full figured, but a hourglass. An hourglass is not related to her size, just the shape.

Shape != size or proportion.
