definately the simpsons... it is a classic and an institution in American televison. Even the last few years which were not as funny as it used to be are still better than new episodes of family guy. In my opinion, family guy used to be really funny before it was cancelled. Since it came back, only the star wars special seemed funny to me... the rest of it seemed overdone.... still better than American dad though


on a completely random side note, I am really going to miss king of the hill

-A character that was a giant talking taco that pooped ice cream.
-global reality show watched around the universe called earth run by a team of 'jewseons'
-an episode regarding peruvian pan flute bands being the guardians and protectors of the giant guinea pigs
-an episode where indiana jones, or any fictional character, graphically raped by its creators
- Canada going on strike
- cat piss that fucked you up and made you trip balls when you inhaled it.
- an episode where a character got aids, and had it cured in the same episode.

In years past I would've said The Simpsons. Now I say Family Guy. I think The Simpsons are only still around for the sake of breaking records. They haven't been more than just ok in at least a decade.

I like Simpsons cause of the stupidity of Homer and Family guy is just one joke after another which is quite funny to see.

Neither one, particularly. Maybe it's 'cause I'm getting older, but I just don't find those shows to be particularly funny. I was a big fan of The Simpsons early on, but nowadays I just think it's kinda stupid. Family Guy I've watched only a handful of times, but then, I don't really watch all that much TV outside of college football, international soccer, shows like "Nova" and "Frontline," and "The Daily Show".
