The only best ever list Giguere deserves to be on is, best ever goalies named Giguere.
Well top two all time without debate. And Giguere does have his name on the cup and was unstopable when he won the cup.
He was unstoppable in his Conn Smythe season. But when the Ducks won the cup, the Ducks were stacked and Giguere was just good enough to not lose. He's had average regular seasons too. He also let a backup steal his job. I'd say he's more of an average goalie that had a flash of brilliance than a top 3 greatest of all time.
of modern day French Canadian goalies maybe Fleury is better.
