Re: If they don't dance now, they soon will ...

Not only that but they are just too many rednecks in this country who have no idea what the issues are and just say (NOW UNDERSTAND I AM PARAPHRASING HERE, THIS IS NOT MY VIEW, IT IS JUST A CHARACTERIZATION OF YOUR AVERAGE AMERICAN DIPSHIT) ..."Man, I'm votin' fer McCain, I ain't never lettin' no ****** or no bitch be our fucken president"

This country is in desperate need of change, a shot in the arm, a departure from the status quo politics that has suffocated us for 40 years. Unfortunately the majority of us (who vote) is too stupid to know that.

America is just one big giant stupid redneck that does not manage money well.

it is interesting to see such critical point of view! but... I am so much impressed by the level of the falseness in both Obama and Hillary, that I really feel sorrow for the United States. It makes me wonder how does it come to the choice like that? Of two evils choose the least. And I guess that the problem with both of candidates is not that one of them had black skin, and the other is a woman, but that one of them is Obama and the other is Hillary. At least I feel it like that, like this is something personal in them that scary me even to imagine one of them to be a president.
But McCain is not a good alternative!
Politicians always talking ****, it is their main business, no surprise with that. And they all are false to some point. But at this time it is kinda competition of doublefaces and window dressers! None of them deserves a vote or trust.

Just a few words in the defence of that faceless group of 'dumb rednecks'... I am sure that big amount of those who are against Hillary/Obama are not that dumb at all, the other way round - they are too longheaded and keen! :2 cents:

I don't have a lot of confidence in that, jamrak. The red states are home to the highest % of people who would automatically vote against Obama or Clinton based on race or gender. Those states were also Bush's biggest supporters, so you can probably understand why so many don't have a lot of faith in their judgement.

I actually thought Mr Gazinya did a good job of describing what we've become in the last eight years....

America is just one big giant stupid redneck that does not manage money well.

bodie54, I must agree - I can't argue with that, cuz I do not have any proofs.

Just one argument: I see a lot of conscious people from USA at this board, and the selection here is quite random, so why should the rest of americans be much more dumb and narrow-minded? Though, again, it is just my assumption, or even a wish...

If only the 'representative of females' was better than Hillary, we could check the real attitude towards women-president.

cripes, Blair is still in office!?

shouldn't billary clinton being impeached of being a senator? the poll had a rhetorical question and it brought a rhetorical question from my side.

And for just what "High crime or misdemeanor" should she be impeached?

Bush has admitted plenty he could be impeached for.Warrantless wiretaps being just one example. But people need to keep in mind impeachment is a political process meaning that only when the public or its elected representatives are aroused enough is impeachment possible.Unfortunately although Bush has very low ratings in the polls and is extremely unpopular which would make him ripe for impeachment you would think given what he has admitted, the people have no desire to re-live the drama of what went on with Nixon or Clinton.

If an average person had been charged with what the Clinton's did they would be in jail.

Hillary is a mobile paper shredding machine.

Hard to impeach someone for a crime that was investigated extensively but she was never charged in.And as I mentioned before impeachment is a political exercise to remove someone for something that was not known at the time they faced election last.Whitewater is old news and everyone was well aware of it when she was 1st elected to the senate and then re-elected.It would be ridiculous now to try to impeach her for whitewater after the people spoke in those 2 elections barring some new evidence of criminality on her part.

She shouldn't have been elected. People are wilfully ignorant and have short memories. The Clinton's also stole furniture from the White House.
No more Bushes or Clintons in the white house.

I'm not American, and neither am I a fan of politics, so I don't really feel qualified to present my point of view on this one - however having read all the responses here (and there's some pretty strong feelings knocking around) I find myself thinking that the two chaps in question here are a prime example of what is wrong in governments all around the world.

To those who have pointed out that it is our ******** and grandchildren who will foot the bill for present day incompetence - I tip my hat - well said boys and girls.

Yes, without a doubt. Reasons? There are plenty!

******* - doing it, ignoring BOTH federal and international laws, PLUS lying to the public about it ("We do not *******!" - yeah, right, please stop feeding me horseshit by the shovelful ! Question: Which is more of a problem when it's a lie, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman!" or "We do not *******!"???)

Pointless slaughter of American lives and non-hostile non-combatant civilian lives in Afghanistan and Iraq. The ever-shifting reasons for the invasion and continued presence are all transparently bogus. To those who shamelessly continue to sell them, please, just stop. Enough.

America's reputation pretty well down the shitter.

Numerous other high crimes and misdemeanors - all of which go well beyond some consensual yet adulterous blowjobs in the Oval Office. Olbermann (whether you like his "style" or don't) has been doing a good job enumerating them on his show as of late.

BTW, GREAT poll, negator! Nice, simple straightforward question for a poll thread, and long overdue, frankly (slaps his forehead and asks himself "Why didn't I think of that?!!?").

Rep coming!

It's too late now, it was too late when this thread was created, and it was too late when the votes were counted...
Agreed. But do it anyway. The image of those two troglodytes with their look of self satisfaction when they leave office in 2009 will be enough to make me want to go back to 2000 and grassy knoll them both.

Yay for recycling old threads...check the date posted!

On a somewhat unrelated note, that political test folks were playing with in another thread puts me just about on top of Kucinich (more or less depending on how I answer some questions, which is different every time I take it).

Yet another reason why I really like Kucinich.

If only Obama would make HIM his VP !!!

I'm curious what people have to say about the articles individually. They're all listed on the link two posts above.
