Cooper and then everybody else. Manson is just rehashing what Cooper already took to the mountain without the tongue in cheek humor that Cooper displayed.
Not sure if W.A.S.P are shock rock but a great band all the same.

Manson, Cooper, and zombie are the big three. Ozzy bit the head off a dove though so hes definitely in the top 5.

Alice Cooper will always be the King. His recent theatre of Death stage show was one of his best. I would say that Manson in the early years was pretty shocking. Antichrist Superstar is an amazing album and still one of my favourites. Sadly somewhere along the way, Manson started believing in his own hype. He has now disappeared up his own backside. I love Rob Zombie but I don’t personally class him as a shock rocker? :2 cents:
Rob is second...but your right, Alice will ALWAYS be #1. The first concert (other than local shows) that I ever saw was Alice on his last tour, last year...he is the fucking king. I've never had a better time. Both my *** and I, our first concerts were both Alice Cooper shows. About 35 years apart.
