I'd hire an immigrant over a native born American any day. No question. The American worker is shit. And that's including today's youth. Don't get me started on Gen Y and Z....The immigrant worker will do a better job and work twice as hard. Americans take this country for granted. The immigrant doesn't. All Americans do is fucking complain. We're left behind, we're the forgotten, yada yada yada. Stop complaining, get up off the couch and make fucking moves.
I meant Byrd, as a former dixiecrat, segregationist and klansman, remained a democrat instead of switching parties as is the popular notion that most did. But it turns out, most democrats who were segregationists remained democrats until they died, including Al Gore Sr. Bill Clinton didn't catch near the flack for praising Fulbright than Trent Lott did for Thurmond.
It's true that today's democrats are not the democrats of the jim crow past, but it's a slander to compare today's republicans to them.

Haiti is a shithole country? Well, I've never been there but I did visit Dominican Republic. Part of my cruise to hell.
The wife and I decide to not take the cab rides to the touristy places and walk into town. Puerto Plata. About a mile and a half from the ship. Once we get past the 60, 80 cabs lined up to take tourists to places, this guy is following us on foot. I turn around to tell the guy that we want to be left alone. Dude whips out IDs and stamped paperwork from the DR government. Tells us he is here to protect us.
As we are walking to town, there are rusted ships on the beachfront to our left. To the right are shacks where little kids dressed in rags are running out to curse at us and spit on us. The dude chases them away.
We get safely into town and the dude refuses to take a tip. Welcome to Puerto Plata. Dirt streets. Dirt sidewalks. Dogs with mange limping down the street. They even had Esso gas stations. The avenue was one trinket shop next to another. A teenage boy stops us on the street with this beautiful pirate ship hand crafted from tree branches. Gorgeous. "$75." he says. No. "$15". No deal. I know what is going to happen. Cruise ship sees me bringing this thing onto the ship and it will be confiscated. Give it back this kid to resell to another tourist. We got a cab back to the ship. Couldn't get out of that shithole fast enough.

I agree. Liverpool does bring the country down a lot. Maybe I need to tweet Trump that Liverpool is in fact North Korea.
I have visited your country. I have met some very nice people there. Miss Hybrid is a very good ambasssador for England. There needs to be more like her.
That could be said for every country in the world (apart from France, they do not deserve such a woman).

I’m not a fan of a President being vulgar (if he actually did) but there are shithole countries that have people risking their lives to get the heck outta there. I don’t think there is anything racist or heartless when a country’s leaders use their brains and try to be considerate toward their citizens when determining immigration policy.

That would be preferable. I imagine a good amount or even most people would want to stay in their native land if they could have a pleasant existence with human rights and a chance at a good career where they could provide for their family.
The left in this country want to bring in as many people as they can that will be dependent on the government. It has been the plan ever since Ted Kennedy and the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.
Leftist ideology depends on a whole class of people that need government to survive. I gotta hand it to them, libs play the long game and this plan has really worked. Look at California, open borders has changed the demographic of that state and nothing else. Do you think a George Deukmejian, Pete Wilson or Ronald Reagan can be elected governor of that state again?
The greater the shithole someone comes from, the more likely they will need government assistance and become loyal to Democrat policies and if they can’t vote for Democrats their offspring certainly will. There are exceptions, but generally all of these immigrants are Democrats in waiting.
The left are creating a clash of cultures and throughout history when this happens it never ends well. And by “ never ends well” I mean it leads to civil war. I never thought this country would ever see another one, but I am almost certain we are on that path again.
