Hi all.
Just here in the past couple of months, I have noticed that when I rent or buy a DVD to watch on my TV, that the sound quality sucks. When listening to the dialog, I have to turn the volume way up to hear it, then way down when music comes in.
I asked my blockbuster dude what the deal was, and he told me that ALL movies are digitally recorded with Surround sound, and if my TV is not set up with surround sound that I would have that problem with volume. So, I either go out and spew a bunch of cash on a new set, or 'I'm screwed without it".:******:
