Scott Brown...Pimpin' his daughters?? What a loon...uh ohhhh

Damn he was clearly kidding. I am glad that he doesn't have a stick up his ass and he has a sense of humor.

Yeah. It's pretty clear he was joking. Not like he posted a number in front of the cameras and said call to negotiate prices or anything.

He just took a long time democrat seat, unbalanced the democrat's advantage, and the democrats are sore and will find any thing and every thing to make him look bad.

I'm sure they have people working around the clock digging up every single little dust speck in his past to try and find some dirt to throw at him on a personal level.

Duhhh....of course he was joking <or maybe not...call me Senator> that wasn't in question.

The question is a matter of taste and class as his daughters and most of the people there seemed a bit embarrassed.

It looks like it's just blown out of proportion.

Parents do things that embarrass their children. Just reading too much into it and trying find something to nitpick at.

Hmm people making fun of someone's poor taste in jokes....that's never happened before.

"...the fuck?!?"

His daughters are available....Is it too late for Miss Freeones?:D

For the sake of the country I hope this goober can legislate better than he thinks on his feet....;)

HM.....come on man. Really? This is what you are basing an Uh-ohh reaction on? Really?

It was a joke. He's obviously close with his family. This joke, in whatever taste you decide, was just that.....a joke.....and that is what is upsetting you?

It doesn't upset you to have watched the massive smear campaign that Coakley engaged in? It doesn't upset you that Barry O ran up there to try and help at the last minute, (he really should STOP doing that by the way.....Dems are going to start distancing themselves from Mr. Prez faster than Repubs did with Bush) and when he got there, proceeded to scoff at the man because he drives a truck? :dunno:

It doesn't upset you that with each and every passing day it becomes more and more clear that we have an elitist snob of a man child in the White House who pretends to have the common man's interest at heart when he himself has shown disdain, bordering on disgust, for said common man?

Seems to me that when all was said and done, there are more important things to focus on about this election than one comment made by the man at his victory party.

<Talk about not being able to take a "joke"> The thread is making a joke of it...

The only people upset are those who don't realize or accept the joke about his joke.:spump:

I'm not upset man. Not at all. I do, however, have a very difficult time believing you when you say that it's just a joke. I mean no offense.....just basing that opinion on where I believe you to stand on the "issues", based on discussions here.

Read my original post again...:dunno:

Besides....I don't know where he stands on the issues...I could agree with him on many things...

Just because he doesn't seem inclined to vote for health care reform doesn't mean he's gonna be all gravy for the people riding his jock strap right now.....

Conspiracy...
The man was excited, he just wanted to get everyone else's spirits up....;)

He's excited to finally give Massachusetts a respectable representative, or at least better than they have had. ;)

Because you know who has had a mind control like hold on those misguided people for too long. :D

Ted Kennedy's slogan was "He can do more for Massachusetts"

He didn't do anything. :D

Ted Kennedy
First elected to the U.S. Senate in November 1962, he was re-elected nine times and served for 46 years

 Term limits! :helpme:

Massachusetts, "Free at last! Free at last! :hatsoff:

You have nothing to say, so you make shit up...as usual.

His bio...
"Senator Brown is a proud member of the Massachusetts National Guard, where he has served for nearly three decades and currently holds the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Judge Advocate Generals (JAG) Corps. Brown was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service in homeland security following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. His career in public service began as selectman in Wrentham. He then went on to serve three terms as a State Representative and won his current State Senate seat in a special election in 2004. He is currently in his third Senate term.

In 2004, Senator Brown received the Public Servant of the Year Award from the United Chamber of Commerce for his leadership in reforming the state's sex offender laws and protecting the rights of victims. He has also been recognized by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) for his work in creating an environment that encourages job growth and expansion in Massachusetts.

Senator Brown is a graduate of Wakefield High School, Tufts University, and Boston College Law School. He lives in Wrentham, MA with his wife Gail and their two daughters, Ayla, a student at Boston College, and Arianna, a student at Syracuse University."
As well, I understand his wife Gail is a well known TV anchor there , his eldest daughter is a college basketball player...and they wanna go head to head with the Prez at the White House in a game. Seem like great happy smart people who you're trying to bring down to your level...won't work.
The whole family seems like a great group of people, and he's really popular there in Massachusetts. They would know...
You'd shit on Jesus if today was the Second Coming.

Well, what do you know, another business dooshbag who will NO DOUBT go to Washington to fatten his pockets with Special Interest money for his re-election campaign. :hatsoff:

His qualifications are respectable (on paper) but certainly not remarkable. That is my assessment.

I hope he goes to Washington and tries to position himself as the most conservative Senator with a mission to obstruct Obama, because he will quickly inflame the people of Massachusetts.

The people of Mass will probably never see the guy again anyways :dunno:

Recently elected Mass Republicans (Governors) get into office, do nothing, and fade away (See Weld, Jane whatshername, Paul whatshisname, etc. Only Mitt has been able to stay in the news post-Mass...Paul Whatshisname maybe wasn't as bad a Republican as he could've been.

His daughter found it funny when they asked her about it. Telling a joke does not mean you do not have class or taste. People need to stop trying to label everyone.

Give me a break. The guy is a proud Dad with a sense of humor. Anybody who is taking offense at this, or even making any issue of it, is fucking stupid and needs to pull the tree limb out of their ass. Giving your single children a hard time is something parents do. It's just life. So take a fucking pill and find something actually important and worthwhile to get your panties all bunched up about. This issue is one, giant non-issue.
