No problem man. I myself didn't like them when I first watched the first movie. But it came on HBO a few times and I took the time to watch it a few more times, and ended up loving them. So if you dont like it right off, watch it once or twice more and it will really grow on you.

Naw I haven't watched it yet, my cable channel isn't showing it right now, and the the premium channels that are playing saw are showing # 3, and I have a suspended license so I can't just go hop in the ride and rent it! so I have to wait, I will notify you here on the trhead when I've watched it. :thumbsup:
Hopefully I will enjoy it the 1st time! but I will watch it twice if I don't like it, or I don't really feel like I didn't understand or whatever! :hatsoff:

*UPDATE*
I caught the last 30 minutes of SAW on cable it was edited but I still got a glimpse of what its about! I then watched SAW II which aired following the original.. Alright, I am sold! I liked it.. its not @ all what I imagined! after seeing that dumb trailer / preview I saw for the original film it dawned on me what it is that I saw (<<= no pun intended ) it was the cackling doll thinking that was the killers disguise?? :rofl2:
but now that I think way back in the past, I believe I was watching saw a long time ago and Danny Glover went into a building and he ended up chasing the killer who was disguised like the cackling doll if my memory serves me correct??
So I am now gonna make sure I watch the whole series 1 - 5 from start too finish ASAP! albeit as I was watching part 2, I started thinking part 2 didn't have any connections too the original film and then came the scene of the the originals grisly remains in the last 5 - 10 minutes of part 2.. then I was like damn that was eerily cool!! :thumbsup:

it's kind of complicated but glover plays the detective that is investigating the crimes. the "killer" doesn't dress up like the doll, he wears a pigs mask. I'm not sure which film it is, but you eventually do learn what the significance of the doll is. I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but as each film progresses you learn more about the history of the mastermind behind the schemes.
i'm glad you liked the movies and can see that they are pretty well plotted and not just senseless gore (although still bloody enough to appeal to horror fans).

I am pleasantly surprised too learn I was totally mistaken about the preview trailer of the original film, and I really did enjoy part 2 having seen it from start too finish.. :thumbsup:
I am gonna backtrack before watching SAW # 3 - present... I knew I vaguely remember seeing D.Glover enter the killers domain.. and then I don't remember anything after that... I will update again when I've watched the original in its entirety! :hatsoff:
