It figures, hate when that happens. :(

I knowwwww! One time a few years ago I went to make breakfast and had the bacon, sausage, toast, potatoes, onions and bell pepper all mixed and done up. Go to do the eggs last so the cheese and eggs will be hot and melting. Get in fridge and there's one fricking egg in carton! I was pissed lol

Cos I told ex countless times if there are only one or two eggs left just take them out and put them in the door or something so I know to get more. That morning turned shitty in no time lol

Got a recipe for the sauce? I'm a big fan of sour cream and anything made with it ;)

Legit its easy. This was made by request for the millionth time by one of my lady friends.

Onion and celery get minced/chopped small and sauteed til soft. This will end up giving your sauce texture down the line.
Add your protein of choice. I like shrimp, she likes chicken. This time I did both at once. Cube the chicken into bitesized prices and add them to the party and cook it through.
Meanwhile, find a curry powder you like. I use and organic blend from walmart. McCormik's isn't bad either for flavour and is accessible. Sprinkle that into your meat and aromatics as you cook with some salt.
At the end, you decide how naughty you want to be:

EITHER

A) Have a rich amazing naughty sauce by adding a ton of sour cream and gently simmer to warm it up. (it will become thinner as it heats)
B) Cut the fat by mixing in some plain yogurt with the sour cream and still have a great sauce, more authentic and less rich.

Add more curry powder to taste. Serve over rice. It's that easy. Its a very popular and simple dish people ask me to make all the time. You can give it kick by adding whatever else you like. Peas, a little diced ginger, fennel seeds, its whatever you want to make it your own.

^^^Got it thanks, Sounds fast and pretty easy. I'll defo give it a try and post a pic soon ;) Here's one for ya since you mentioned seafood/shrimp pasta a few pages ago. Although I'm not a big fan of Olive Garden I love their Alfredo Sauce. Heres a mock up of it that tastes just like OG if not better. Its a little more labor intensive than your sauce but worth the effort. Add your choice of meats, shrimp, crab, chicken, beef, whatever.

Serve over fettuccine and enjoy;)

Failed meals especially breakfast are never a good start to anything. A few weeks ago I went to make my Tamale Pie I had been craving all day. And I mean reeeaaally craving!!! I got as far as browning the meat and onion before I realized I didn't have corn bread mix. It was about 3am so going to the store was out of the question. A total morale crusher. Now what do I do with a pan of plain browned meat?? After a few more bong swats to think about it I had lost interest but hate wasting food. Said fuck it and dumped in a can of Manwich and had Sloppy Joes. It filled the void but wasn't Tamale Pie :(

I'm just now reading this reply. The read and unread bold letters been off lately.

I am interested in this Tamale Pie, good sir.

Yes Sloppy Joes are what I call the void filler mood anyways. Hamburger thawed out, random condiments, couple cans of miscellaneous items. As you said 3am :1orglaugh well I made sloppy Joes and added sour cream, onions, mushrooms and topped with pickles. Sadly no buns :(

So I had to settle with wheat bread.

Sheeeit, bread always comes in handy when buns aren't available. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, etc. LOL

Damn, I never posted it? It was a Fecesbook find that I had to try and was fantastic. I switched it up tho, instead of putting the cornbread on the bottom I poured it over the top and then baked. Same difference basically. ;)

I know it does. But the wheat bread was what the ex got on sale for like 39 cents and it was like a fluffy cardboard lol

My man!!!! Though there's one problem in that video which I am sure you take care of in your version of the recipe. You can still see the meat after they put the cheese on :1orglaugh

I'm definitely gonna try that when the weather gets fall Like! That looks like grade A cold weather comfort food right there.

Oh ya, never enough cheese. That problem was rectified ;)

My simple pleasure in life of food is after a nice bowl of spaghetti and the sauce still left in bowl make a salad in that bowl and use ranch dressing. The ranch and spaghetti sauce mixed together with the salad is so grand! Add some chopped onion, black pepper and cheese

I always sop that shit up with garlic bread mangs, or just plain bread and butter. Spaghetti samiches are the best especially when the butter melts and dripping down the chin. Yummers ;)

Hell yeah!!!!

I love steak, baked potato and buttered bread on same plate. I eat my steak still mooing so there's steak blood and juices on plate mixed with butter and melted sour cream, melted cheese. Sop some up with bread and butter or put it over my salad and use bread to sop up messy salad bowl.

My plates look clean when I am through with them cos I let nothing go to waste.

Heck when I make a steak in skillet on stove and the seasoned grease and juices are there I use bread to make grease sandwiches :D

A grease sandwich as you have described is Fried bread a vital ingredient of a full English brekkie. Only to be eaten once a year or else you will die on the spot. Worth the risk though.

Anything can kill us in the end. So risk that is yummy is better than a risk crossing the street :)

There is spicy and there is dumbass spicy. My salsa, chili and regular consumption of food prolly hits around 1-2
Million (maybe more) on Scoville chart. But damn if I'm gonna kill myself to prove a point. Also I did the paqui chip challenge. It wasn't hot as the dramatic videos show to be.

I would however try this on couple spoon hits. Test it and either devour or leave it.

No shit, hot is great if it doesn't overpower the dish. I would rather enjoy the meal than puking it up later with watery, burning parts of th.e body. If you make hot shit just consider who else is going to be eating it. Everyone handles it different.

I was at a party once and some dude bet another guy $20 he wouldn't eat one of his home grown Habs. The fucker that ate it ended up leaving the party in tears. It was enjoyable watching him wither in pain but I didn't see the point. For $20? Whatever

I watched grown men double over on my salsa. Scoville chart is inaccurate anyways. All I know is if you want spicy I got spicy and will burn you up. Enjoy but I am not responsible for your grievance
