RIP firefox, it was nice knowing you

Aces&Jacks

Retired Mod
I had no problems with Firefox until I updated to the latest version a few weeks ago. It started using up all my systems free resources and crashing on startup. I was about to downgrade to 3.5 when I saw the Opera link, so I installed Opera instead and it's been working great.

^oops. horses for courses lol. the opposite for me -- this version their best yet. and yes, opera is indeed an awesome browser -- my favorite but i have two separate browser session windows open; hence ff also. glad to see u back aces -- u were a decent mod ;)

ive gotten used to opera. its right fast. it does do a couple of stupid things that i hate. like opening up the right clicking box with you double left click on certain stuff. hate that shit.

and it doesnt colour clicked links sometimes. and no auto-fill in in text boxes. i hate that. but its a lot fucking faster than firefox was when i gave up on it.

oh me too squally ; opera is my fav; just has trouble rendering some pages i find but so fucking quick -- and easily the best and fastest scrolling out there; in a separate session i have ff 10 running -- this version is decent imo.

I used Firefox for years but I'm a fan of Google Chrome now. I like the layout and I find it fast enough most of the time. Bing should die.

Call me paranoid but I tend to keep my pron viewing separate from my email, facebook, and web shopping separate. I use IE for pron and freeones and searching for escorts, etc, while I use firefox for anything with a password, other than freeones. I don't think it makes a difference but IE doesn't have any other passwords stored. Thing is that I like firefox better than IE. When I'm on freeones on IE, sometimes it doesn't show any embedded videos, but FF does.

Anyone who uses Opera, please do me a favor. I've noticed an isolated issue with browsing CDUniverse:
You can view screenshots from the movies, such as the one in the link I'm posting here. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=8630758
If I click See more screenshots?, it will not display the images. Just blank spaces with the word "Image".
However, if I try it with Firefox, it works. I'm still more comfortable with Opera, so that's why Firefox isn't my default browser.
I'm wondering if any other Opera users have this issue, or if there is a setting I need to change.
