I got the code card sitting in the case, didn't try it yet. I take it you got the ps3 version Mr Whaler?

nope im a 360 guy,although i have both systems. i thought i got this game on the PS3 but i guess not. if you try it can you tell me what u did to get it to work.
or if anyone has the 360 version a little info/help would be greatly appreciated. especially in the REP department!!

Start the game and when you see the main menu you'll have 3 choices. XBOX Live Multiplayer, Downloadable Content, and Single Player.

Select "Downloadable Content" and then press "X" to enter a R* Code.

I have the Golden Guns Weapon Pack from Amazon but I assume it's the same thing with the Assassin Costume and the War Horse.

The code is not a marketplace code but rather a Rockstar Code. Also, you must enter the dashes.

I didn't get any codes or nothing with my copy. The only thing I got was a free blu-ray copy of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

fuckin lame. The copy I got from gamefly keeps freezing when I'm being shown around the ranch in the very beginning. what the fuck? Anyone else have problems with this game freezing?

I got mine from BestBuy and mine freezes once in a while and sometimes I can't open my map. Hopefully they will fix this.

The only problem I've had was online and that was the fact that my guy and donkey both disappeared but I could still hear them, that was 2 days ago. Other than that it's been smooth sailing.

I've had this problem as well. Also, one of my buddies kept getting booted out of the game we were playing.

yeah I had problems with disappeariing, only had the game freeze once, while i was skinny a cougar, THE LAST ONE FOR THE DAMN CHALLENGE. I havent been able to redeem my code yet either, i will try adding the dashes. Sweet game though, I have been playing it nonstop.

i dont play online so i couldnt answer if this is an "online freeze" problem. but i have had no issues at all with the game (offline).

I'm going to put this to bed. I'll confirm whether or not it is real below, just highlight it.

Sadly, he is telling the truth.


In the final mission of the game, the main character does infact die. You play as his son in 1914.

Online free roam is a bit of a disappointment. Spawn - killed - spawn - killed.

anyone have an easy hint on how to collect a bounty....ALIVE? i thoigh early in the game the marshall said to shoot him in the legs but i did that 2 times now and i eventually have to kill the bounty cause he gets up!

You have to hogtie them with your rope, put them on the back of your horse and bring them to justice. If you don't have your rope yet then do the Bonnie Macfarlene missions.

YEP it worked today when i put the dashes in...but you have to do little "side" mission type thingy's to get the outfit,it makes no sense.
why have that DLC then you still need to get stuff to complete the outfit?
eh...rockstar has never failed me so i guess its for the better.

I had the same problem at first. I kept killing my bounties so I just decided to do the Bonnie missions and low & behold I got the lasso.

got it this weekend for ps3 its very good and addicting first night i put in 4 hours it seems to be a large game also havent tried co op yet that looks pretty cool
