Damn D-rock. That must hurt like a bitch.
Trip over something?
I too hope it's nothing too serious.
Actually a wasp got into the house somehow and it was just sitting there, and when I first noticed it I was walking around it was close to my face so it startled me pretty good. Normally I would just go get a fly swatter or something and take care of it, but when I involuntarily jumped back from it some freak occurrence happened and my big toe got cured up under the balls of my feat somehow and I put all my weight on it crushing it. I could actually hear it happen. Some of the area where the skin meats the nail at the cuticle sort of separated a little also.
I can squeeze it and it doesn't hurt, and it's not as painful as earlier tonight but whenever I walk on it normally or bend or twist it still hurts. Although it's a little better than a few hours ago. I doubt any of the bones are broken in it, but I just hope there is no major ligament or tendon damage and it's just a bad sprain. There is no bruising and it never really swelled up that much. I'm just going to lay off it the next few days and hope I don't need to do anything where I will need to use it. I really hope I don't get called in to go to work until some days have passed. I'm actually considering wearing my shoes when I go to sleep just to made sure it doesn't snag on something during the night. In the absolute worst case scenario some minor loss of flexibility to a toe isn't the end of the world. I just hope I don't need to do something strenuous where I have to use my feet in the next few days.
