Why are NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, Tennis, UFC, Golf and Soccer threads allowed in the Talk section but the WWE thread is thrown into the Games section?

It's in between. It's something completely different in itself. There is sport to it - people get injured - but it's not a sport - it's a scripted live-action show.
I agree that it doesn't belong in games, although sports does.
"Sports entertainment" is different from traditional sports.
Pro wrestling has nowhere to go, officially, because there's nothing else like it. There is no fitting category other than entertainment. Yes it should be in the talk section.
It's funny that people who are not fans have this delusion that the fans actually think it's somehow 100% real, so they always have to chime in with the simplistic, general statement, "It's fake".

I think whoever started that thread put it in games for whatever reason and moving it wasn't a big deal (There was a games section in 2005 right?).

The Wrestlemania XXVII thread was in Talk plus a bunch of others so there is no wrestling = games rule AFAIK

Its one of those things that is childish in the eyes of many, like Family Guy or Comic book stuff like X-Men or The Avengers. Im 29 going on 30 and I still watch it knowing its scripted but it still entertains me :dunno: But some see it as kid stuff so they don't accept it or acknowledge it :nono: Its like jacking off to Kathie Lee Gifford, nobody wants to admit they do it.

Wrestling is not fake it's just predetermined. It's an insult to all the wrestlers (or entertainers lol) to say wrestling is fake who are putting their lives at risk. I wish wrestling was respected more in the United States.

cheesy as hell. i use to say wrestling was full of homos but it was more to piss off the homos who like wrestling.
