How can someone say they have a favourite "current" NBA player?

Just out of curiosity since I haven't been to Sweden (yet), do you guys play baseball, basketball, football?

I would say that basketball is the fourth or maybe fifth most popular team sport in Sweden (after football, ice hockey and handball and on about the same poularity level as bandy). There is zero interest in baseball. The only time baseball is shown on tv is once a year when they have a usually slightly comedic report from the final of the Swedish league (the match is always played on some field out in the middle of nowhere and the twenty or so people watching the game all look like they think it´s 1955 and they´re auditioning for a part in a James Dean movie). American football gets some attention when it´s time for the superbowl, but that´s about it.
