When they go low, we wait behind a tree and smack them in the head. We did not defeat Hitler and Mussolini by appealing to their better natures. They did not have one.
We beat them by knocking the shit out of them. Remember some folks just won't see reason or compromise. They only understand one thing.

Ideally, there would be some way to bring the trump cultists back to reality without smacking them in the head, but I don't see how.

The good news is, I saw a statistic today that said 80% of Americans believe trump lost the election, and only 3% believe he won, so I guess a good chunk of those trump supporters aren't completely immune to reality, and probably won't try to start some kind of civil war. And the 3% that might are only 3%.

There has to be some way to help people distinguish between news and whatever right wing media is. I can only conclude that decades of training by fox and other rwm has given these people the skills in self delusion it must take to completely ignore what's right in front of your face and fabricate your own reality out of nothing.

Couple of factors into the 27% that don't want civil war; they want to keep th-uh base riled up to push turnout in the Georgia senate runoffs, and equally important, they want to soothe the raped ego of Donald J. Pig.

But they got control didn't they? Got control of the military is how. So far it appears to not be the case here. So far. But thank God Trump is stupid. If he was like a smart Dictator he would subvert some portion of the Military, arrange a coup and have that small portion(or big one) capture and secure the munitions. No munitions doesn't matter what the rest say.

True Mongo. But humans are humans. I was just saying perhaps not clearly that some humans are not amiable to reasonable conversations or compromises. Sadly some you can only beat and beat until they apologise. I was just using the WWII Fascists as an example of that kind of person. Hitler especially lied and cheated and murdered to get what he wanted. And his enablers went right along for whatever reason they wanted to. Money, Power, sadism, who really knows.
