Profanity in Reputation

I was wondering if profanity form other members is tolerated. I have a little profanity from some people who hate me when they give me bad rep. Could you please remove it so I dont have to see it. Or is there a way I can do this myself? Please???? Thank you.:crying:

Well im gonna name and shame someone who has just done it to me. Mods can see who leaves them rep and someone left me negative rep for the post i made above. This person didnt even have the balls to say why he was doing it. I think we may have found one of the sad individuals who leaves negative rep for people for no reason. That doesn't suprise me. He's already been banned once for his offensive remarks. His type are not wanted round here.

Yep, i really don't care about the Rep and i got lots of it... so maybe the secret is not to care too much about it !

And a moderator calling someone gutless for not signing a neg rep point is bad too. The rep point system is annonymous for a reason. No need to call people out.

If you don't like the fact that you can get bad rep for no reason then you should of thought about that before using the system. It was one of my chief complaints when it was introduced. But... No one else cared at that time.

:bowdown: Good to see a mod naming & shaming anonymous bad rep. Like most of the others here, it doesn't bother me when it's justified.
But bad rep for the sake of it is just annoying - I'd much rather have a constructive comment left, so you can learn from your mistake (if any), and move on.
As I've said before, I don't do bad rep anyway, as it's kinda pointless. If I've got a problem with a post, I'll either reply in the thread or PM the poster. If you think someone deserves bad rep, then have the balls to leave your name as well!
Without a comment, bad rep's absolutely worthless.

Well if being able to see who gives you bad rep and publicly posting it aint abusing mod power, how come us normal board members dont have the ability to see who gives us neg rep then?Because as far as i'm aware only mod's hve that ability am i correct?

you are indeed correct but it depends on what you take as being abuse. I dont consider what i have done to be abusing power, you think differently and you are entitled to your opinion. I think we should agree to dissagree on this one so that we can lay this topic to rest.

Honestly, I don't understand why people "get their panties in a bunch" over rep. Either you're a positive or a negative influence on the board. Period. Lurkers excluded. Just be yourself. If people happen to disagree with you from time to time, so be it. I don't "neg rep" everyone with whom I disagree -- but if they make a DUMB, shitty statement, I will. I sign ALL rep points. You'll know when I give or take rep from you.

If you make a POINT of being an abrasive ASS or post dumb shit about sucking cock after a snakebite or some other adolescent, puerile nonsense, YES, you're going to get negative rep points. What else should you expect? This is an adult message board, and adults expect a certain behavior of one another.

Contribute to the board and make it as fun and enjoyable as you can, and stop worrying about "rep!" Come on! We didn't have rep points here until what, three months ago, and now everyone is all caught up in them! Silly. Just be yourself and contribute to the board as best you can to help make it better and better! Your reputation will either wax or wane based upon the quality of your posts, your contributions to the board overall, and your interactions with others. Just my :2 cents:

I don't think thfcmad was abusing his power I do however think that everybody should be able to see who gives them rep. If we could see who gave us rep then it might cut down on all the neg rep for no reason. :2 cents:
