I like Playboy, but Penthouse seems to hold what little attention span I have, longer.
Playboy is crap. Penthouse is pretty good. But, Hustler is the best.

I threw away the few playboys that I had, too much text about politics and short stories and crap like that. And the playmates usually don't show off their asses and snatches as well as other mags. I got a Hustler and it beat the shit outta those playboys. Hell, any obscure mag like Cheri or Velvet beats Playboys anyday for me.
They stopped airbrushing in 1990 or so they say.Mind you, there's more than one way to skin a cat.
PB had a poor run of silicone enhanced blow up doll Playmates.
PB did a lot to make softcore respectable to the general public.

I chose Penthouse. It seems nowadays the pictures in Playboy are so touched up, they look fake and flat. In Penthouse the photography is still pretty good.(IMO)

Playboy has better looking models for the most part, but they don't show as much as I'd like to see. Hustler shows too much for my tastes. Penthouse is nicer in this area, but I don't like the blurred pictures either.
Overall, I'd probably choose Playboy because they have some bigger name celebs in there once in a while. I don't know why, but these days I'm a lot more into mainstream celebs than porn.
The last time I bought a copy of either one of these mags was when Playboy had a pictorial of Kristy Swanson. I'd been wanting to see her naked for about 15 years. She looked pretty good, but I wish she would have done it about 10 years earlier.
