Which do you think is a better magazine publisher: penthouse or playboy and why? better layouts? better articles? better women???

Playboy.

Better looking women and, of course, better articles. It's a pretty classy magazine and I always liked that about it.


One thing I always hated about Penthouse is that stupid hazy, or blur effect they always use on their pictures. It's been like that since as far back as I can remember. I never liked that.

Of course, I don't look at Penthouse or any other skin mags much anymore. Maybe things have changed.

I'll agree and say this....
More pets have been pornstars ....but some of the hottest famous bitches on the planet have been in playboy...and the second ANYONE really famous decides they want to show some titties.....they call hef..

This is true for me as well. It's silly to pay for porn magazines when you can get free porn on the web that's just as good, or better.

I've subscribed to Playboy off and on, though. For one thing, they do have good articles. For another thing, if you hunt around you can get it insanely cheap... something like $1.25 an issue for a one-year subscription. But I wouldn't pay much more than that.

I buy none of those magazines regularly, but voted for Penthouse. Like the pets more than the playmates.
And the rumors that Playboy is negotiating with Bitchney Spears make me shudder.

Playboy and Penthouse have more in common with each other than they do with other magazines, so this is a good question. No offense, but I'd say adding the option of "other" hurts this poll more than it serves to include all opinions.... Playboy v. Penthouse alone is a much more interesting question.

There's a well-known quote made by a Justice of the US Supreme Court regarding the defintion of pornography, which paraphased, is something like, "I don't know how to define pornography in words, but I know it when I see it." With that I'd say that Penthouse is pornography, even if it is softcore.... Playboy is nude modeling, not all that different than what you might find in an art book, or at least an erotic art book. lol Which is better? You can decide that for yourselves. I know where I stand on the issue.

That's why "option 3" hurts the poll, since chaps like yourself (and me, for that matter), will vote for it every time. Playboy and Penthouse are in a class by themselves. ... either at the top, or the bottom. It all depends on what you're looking for.
