Sorry to hear about your experience with playboy and never getting paid Mariah. I've never worked for them but as a consumer I have always liked Penthouse and Hustler's style and articles more. Which is why I've been subscribed to them both for the last 3 years but not playboy.
 
I feel as though for the most part, the Playboy brand itself went through a cheapening in the mid 2000's. Granted some of my favorite models are from that era, but that's when every girl in the trailer park started getting the tattoos and what have you. Ultimately, there's way better content out in the rest of the adult industry now, and I'm way more satisfied with the material from places like Twisty's than Playboy.
 
I think I am going to go to the White House petition site and start a petition to award Hefner the Presidential Medal Of Freedom.
I am going to take a day or so to write it up. Something like "Hugh has freed the tatas from Maidenform oppression for almost 2 generations. It is only fitting that this patriotic American receive the nations highest and hardest honor to achieve. " I'll work on it.

Nope, no agency. I just have no desire to be with one, and nowadays I'm really not interested in doing much modeling outside of my website as I've gotten tired of dealing with photographers, setting up shoots, traveling, all that, so it's no big deal. I'm sick of only getting paid $100-$300 per shoot and bending over backwards to please the photographer. I'd be much more willing to put up with nonsense if I were getting paid much higher, but I'm not, and the road to get there is far too long so I'm just not going to pursue it as hard. I have my website which I love shooting for, and I have my goal of screenwriting, so I'm just going to focus on those.
 
Well I would do what you're doing and leave the other **** to people without the aspirations and goals. I applaud you for your integrity.

I would bet it was the fact you weren't with an agency that kept you from getting booked again. Agencies aren't necessary once you're established, but until then they are a necessary evil I'm afraid for working with many companies.

As a Playboy fan from my 14, I'm 43 now, I'm disappointed by the quality of the pictures from Manwin management.
Even with Holly Randall shooting many pictorials from this year, Manwin team clearly don't manage the photos as they should be. Holly Randall manages her own photos better on her own website.
So from two years, I enhance with Photoshop the Playboy pictures before publishing them on my advertising website in order to offer decent pictures to my readers and show Manwin they could do better, but it seems they don't care.

As an affiliate, I'm more concerned about your payment trouble.
If they start not paying the models, I'm afraid they don't pay the affiliates soon.

When you say Playboy don't pay you, do you mean Manwin ?
 
No it was club jenna which was owned by playboy at the time. I was living out of state so they basically just said "fuck her" but the funny part is that they continued to try and hire me after. I got an offer to do playboy TV last week. Paying talent is far different than paying affiliates, but if you're an affiliate of Manwin you have to know they skim 20% from affiliate sales. well known that Fabian, the owner is about as big a scumbag as you'll find.

the reason they were able to buy Digital Playground and Wicked and Reality Kings and Twisty's was because they bought all the ******* tube sites and allowed their competition's full length videos to be uploaded and free for anyone and everyone to view on demand. Their videos were not found on those sites other than teasers. So they ****** the value of those sites down to fractions of what they once were and bought them for about 1/3 of what they should have been worth. So if you think you can count on them to be honest, you can't. They have been in trouble for dialers and double billing and fraud and all kinds of **** over and over.
 
Till 2003 , I loved playboy but after taht I was more into Suze Randall, Penthouse, Sodomag and Swank. However Playboy has some of the hottest Cyberbabes, some from time to time why not
 
Playboy airbrushes and doesn't show as much, like Penthouse does.

Especially not as much as Private magazine does. (From what I have seen on Google and other sites.)
 
Playboy has been **** for decades.Even some of the lads mags in the UK are raunchier than Playboy,and that's not a joke.

I have met well over 100+ Playmates. The ones who are recent look nice. The ones who are 10+ years or more since their layout usually look like crap. They age awfully. I recall seeing the Dec 1980 issue with Terri Welles as the Playmate. Her beauty was so overpowering she literally "******" me out of my clothes when looking at her. Victoria Cooke had one of the most amazing bodies I have ever seen - a real life Jessica - Rabbit. I saw Terri about 25 years after her issue and she looked like ****. I saw Victoria about the same amount of time later and she looked worse.

Seeing Playmates in person usually sees reality ruin the fantasy. Guys see the Playmate in person and are disappointed at how poorly they aged and walk away thinking "I jerked off to her? Wow - what was I thinking?"

There are exceptions but most Playmates do NOT age well at all and Playboy ignores them later in life. Many are stupid because their looks get them thru High School where they start modeling as soon as they leave and are 18 and because they have no education and because their marriage usually failed they are 40+ with not the same looks so they can't get the same right guy they could have when a Playmate and they have no skills to make money other than spreading their legs. You all would be shocked at how many Playmates **** themselves later in life - either by ***** or a ***. The number is staggering - I know of at least 5 and probably more who died because of a *** suicide or **** OD.

Keep in mind a Playmate only gets paid $25k for her Centerfold and that is paid in 4 installments - break the 2-year NO Nudity with anyone else contract and your payments cease.

Will be interesting to see what PB is like when Hef dies. Might not be so pretty to see
 
You have to remember they don't make much money, they are owned by Playboy and are required to make endless appearances and they party HARD. They all think they are going to be the next Shannon Tweed or Kim Bassinger and become big movie stars which 99% will never be on camera again other than taking their clothes off on Skinemax. So they become high end call girls. They make a lot of money and travel which sounds great, but they do a lot of **** and ******** and live with a tremendous amount of shame and regret. that takes it's toll. I know Ava Fabian who is a beautiful woman still. She had a career afterward and still does. She has told me some serious horror stories about what Playboy requires those girls to do and situations they end up in. Not an easy life at all.
 
I wish some of the more recent ones would come out with thier own solo paysite. Angela Melini came out with a paysite about 8 or 9 years after her pictorial. It ran for about 10 years and in my opinion was one of the best softcore solo paysites ever. Same thing with Divini Rae. I think both Angela and Divini married to rich people. So they are both well off.

well there was a time in the 80s when several playmates went to the middle east as escorts and were held there for a year/ they werent allowed to call their families or anyone in the US. They were required to service the prince and never left his compound the entire time.

Its no secret that playmates ******. they get $10,000 per encounter and even some of Hef's girlfriends have been well known escorts. If you are a charity you can rent the mansion for an event. I went to an event there hosted by Debbie Reynolds. So when someone like a prince comes to town which they do every year and rent an entire floor at the Beverly Wilshire, they rent out the mansion for a night, girls included.
