My *** collected Playboy Magazines from 1960 till the day he died a few months ago, now I have them. I never really liked their video content, I think I own a few scenes but I never had much enjoyment from them since most of the scenes are lame beyond belief. Yeah I have seen with scene you did with Lela Star before and the music is so annoying and distracting, the music is ridiculous.

I completely agree about the number of models. When I shot for Penthouse, I was so ecstatic, and about a year later we wanted to shoot for them again, but they said no because they want to do a wider variety of girls. They don't like to do the same girl. Just... stupid. How is anyone supposed to remember any particular girl if thousands of others are constantly being shoved in their faces? I think there's way too many girls in the adult business right now, everyone trying to make a pretty penny, but so few can actually get very far because everyone always wants someone new.
I don't see the appeal of that. Personally I'd rather see someone I know and like than a large parade of random people I might not care for. I mean, you wouldn't even really know what you're getting when buying an issue. I... don't get it.
I dunno, maybe I'm in the minority there. My brain doesn't work the way most people's do when it comes to these kind of things. :dunno:
I guess Playbody thinks its cutting edge because they have girls and models posing nude who normally dont pose nude. Which would be awesome if these girls were well known, but I dont know them, so who cares? And even when they get well known models to pose nude, its only about 4 sets or so. Even when they get ***********, its only 2 sets or so, and with ***********, there sometimes isnt even a matching uncensored video.
ONe thing I do like about Playboy is they know how to get explicit while still staying classy. But thier business model needs a complete overhaul.

This. I don't know about how the company works or which parts of the online industry they have their fingers in and whatnot. They find some nice girls who are attractive (although a lot of them are totally fake) and make a magazine that's decent to look at every so often. The only difference between playboy and Maxim is that playboy shows tits (usually fake ones). It's decent for what it is, but they have this whole "wholesome girl next door" attitude that just does nothing for me, on top of the mostly plastic, airbrushed, ditzy looking girls.
My point is, I greatly prefer actual smut, and playboy doesn't do a good enough job of being "clean-porn" for me to care about it.

This. Their online content is more explicit than what their magazine was when I growing up. I'm not talking anal gape but definitely spread A & P shots.
That's one of it's major draws for me. Alot of the girls you're not going to find on any other site. And if Playboy is the only way they would ever pose nude then thank goodness for Playboy.

I never paid attention to Playboy, even less watched that television show on E, that was a pathetic attempt to stay relevant. Hustler/Chic/Penthouse was where it's at. If only Playboy pushed the sex envelope much further, they would have stayed at the top of the game. They definitely can chose the cream of the crop of all the hot women that want that "Playboy" exposure.

I always thought Hugh Hefner was cheesy even as a teenager, I preferred Larry Flynt, since I have so much respect for him of what he went through. Raised dirt poor, ****** died every young, joined the Army at 15, joined the Navy, bought a bar working 20 hours a day, started the Hustler Club, made the most obscene magazine at the time because of pick shots, he had to fight to get each issue published because everyone around him believe it was too graphic, Countless law suits, published naked pictures of Jack Kennedy and he was shot by a racist and got ********* from the waist down and I heard he is a wonderful man. Also I really liked The People vs. Larry Flynt since I'm a fan of Hustler and Woody Harrelson.

I know the Flynt ****** very well. I know his ******** Teresa. stayed at her house for 3 days once. I know his ******* Jimmy and his nephews Dustin and Jimmy Flynt Jr. I sat at his table at the 1999 AVN awards when he got his lifetime achievment award. Playboy still has the best catalog around. Penthouse.com for example, is missing several Penthouse Pets from the 1982 year as well as in other years (In 1982, Penthouse shows only nine of the twelve Pets, they still don't have Muriel Rousseau up there). Now that would never be allowed to happen at Playboy.
Playboy is extensive because Christie Hefner was diligent in her design of the Playboy.Cyberclub and she made it a point that every lady ever to appear in the magazine was featured at the Cyberclub website.
But again since Manwin is only managing the playboy.com site and they'll do what they want to promote. The Cyberclub stopped making updates in March 2012. The Jenna Club sites are not being managed by Manwin (even though it says it at the bottom of the join page) -- Moviebox is doing that for Playboy Enterprises. Adult.com is no longer a part of Playboy, though Manwin is managing Reality Gang, i.e. Big Sausage Pizza, Milf Cruiser, Euro Bride Tryouts, etc. etc. etc.

they pay ****. its good exposure but the pay sucks and the video content they produce is awful. The cyberclub nearly bankrupted them in 2009 they were selling monthly memberships for the price of a magazine $7.95 for access to their entire catalogue. they were fucking clueless when it came to online. Christie was great with the print magazine but she was not knowledgeable when it came to the digital era. They sold spice and bought it back a few years ago.

It was last year in the fall, in which I had just done a shoot for them in... when was it? February 2012 I think? Or 2011? Can't remember. So it was fairly recent.
Did you shoot for them recently? Maybe they changed management since you last shot for them.
