I believe I would pay someone off in jail to rape him for a year before shanking him.
The shanking will cost you, but fortunately I'm willing to throw the rape in for free.

here i go again seeing things differently from all the other humans around here.

fuck the inmate, he killed the kid because he was driving wrecklessly.
and fuck the parents too, they sued him for 15,000?
how pathetic is that?
"oh our kids dead, let sue for 15, give the lawyer 7.5, then buy a used 1998 honda, might as well get something out of it".
assholes.

Mrs and Mrs Kenney sued Weaving for more than $15,000 in compensation for their son's death, but are shocked to have been countersued.

theyre shocked?
what did they expect, that how it works, you sue me , i sue you.
now i hope the fucker wins because they sued first.

American fanny or British fanny?

I don't mind either way, I just want to narrow it down....

I was thinking British, but American is more plausible, I suppose. Really, it's your choice.

Re: Parents whose son was killed when car hit his bicycle are sued by the jailed driv

I have an idea for these scumbags...let them sue, and if they lose, and if they can't pay the court costs, tack on another ten to fifteen years on their sentence, and make it non-negotiable. I'll bet that will make these freeloaders think twice before gaming the system.

As for this piece of shit, I think he should have been charged and convicted of murder. He knew he was an unsafe driver, and yet he deliberately operated a potential killing machine. To sue the family, when he was quite obviously at fault, takes a lot of gall. I hope he rots in prison...considering what he did to his victim and his family.

Re: Parents whose son was killed when car hit his bicycle are sued by the jailed driv

This is one of the most appalling things I have ever heard. It is terrible at so many levels it is hard to begin. But when push comes to shove, the helemt is a moot point in any case. He was nearly double the speed limit when he hit the poor boy, so he probably wasn't going to survive anway, helmet or no helmet. This is indicative of the legal system as a whole. More rights and privelleges for convited felons, than for the victims. Really gives me the shits.

its a counter suit!

if it was your kid would you even bother to sue, go through a trial and all the bullshit for 15 grand, half or more going to the lawyer?
then trying to collect it from a guy in prison , thats another ordeal.
maybe they could put a lien on his orange jump siut....oh no, he doesnt even own that
thats just weird.
weird people in this world.
the boys dead, the guys in jail, why go through that crap?
but they did
why? 5 -8 grand or attention, a vegas vacation, a used toyota or what?
and if someone does sue they should expect to get sued back, regardless of the situation.

the guy might be a scumbag for what he did, but counter suing is just part of the system.
think with your brain and dont react the way the article want you to.

appear on oprah?

write a book?
$$$$?
weird.

There is a pretty big difference between the two, well an inch and a half is what it comes down to really. So you better make up your mind now.

Lets try not be ambiguous for the little darlings out there in internet land now, god bless em'.

While I feel you may have some validity to your argument, I think that the family was just trying to pay for a funeral and memorial service for their son with that particular dollar amount. Sure, lawsuits get out of hand and the legal system is rhetoricians way of getting out of a crime, it's most likely they didn't have cash on hand to bury the boy.
It's a heinous crime, and if it were my loved one I'd make him pay for the headstone too, probably even ask him to carve it himself while looking at his victims picture. :2 cents:

ok.
well said.

i just dont think thats it.
a lawsuit will take a long time, maybe years and then getting the money from a guy in jail is almost impossible and another lenghty process.
so that kind of counts uot the pay for the funeral thing.

these people are either freaking weirdos or more likely publicity hounds trying to cash in on the death of their son.

Re: Parents whose son was killed when car hit his bicycle are sued by the jailed driv

Still negligence by the books, but there is no way the inmate will win.
