I am disappointed that playmates these days are overloaded with plastic and artificial beauty. Who prefers the playmates from the 70s and 80s? I do. Just look at this. http://www.foxhq.com/candy-loving-classic-playmate/ gotta love that naturally beautiful woman
I remember having fun with that issue!
Maybe you have it reversed, because Playboy stopped being influential by the late 70s. Once Penthouse and Hustler came along and showed the mainstream man something harder and less airbrushed, Playboy was kicked down to a newly created level between Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues and Hustler/Penthouse. So, Playboy had to react and I think, did so by showing impossibly perfect women, and still do.
I don't have any problem with silicone, tans, diets, dyed hair and so on. What I really do not like about Playboy (and ironically Hustler) - remembering that I haven't seen a hardcopy issue of either in years, just links here), is the excessive use of Photoshop. No moles, no freckles, no pores, no wrinkles or hint of them, uniform skin tone and so on. I do like some PS work (who wants to see an ingrown hair?), but not everything.
And, it is still immensely irritating that Playmates don't show everything.
