Hahahaha, The Montreal Canadiens have a good calendar, a nice vintage jersey, a good team, a good goalie and the new NHL is not that bad, I think its better now that there isn't the "two line passes" and I like the shootouts.
they won't have that nice vintage jersey for much longer
No, I think they will keep it, because recently they have made a poll and most of the people like the jersey that we have currently and I don't think they will change it:thumbsup:
Fooking hate what they've done to the only N.American sport worth watching! Now Bettman is ruining the uniforms of NHL teams after they've been the same for 40 years!. It just keeps gettin better. It's The NBA on ice
DONE!Petition against Bettman. It already has over 2,000 signatures. I urge any caring hockey fans to sign it

you must be one of the few who think this. nobody watches hockey anymore. thats why its been bumped to the versus channel(formerly the outdoor life channel). golf gets better ratings than hockey does.
Just because something is popular or gets good ratings doesn't make it "good", "great" or "worthwhile".you must be one of the few who think this. nobody watches hockey anymore. thats why its been bumped to the versus channel(formerly the outdoor life channel). golf gets better ratings than hockey does.

Why, if popularity were the measure of greatness - Britney Spears is the Doyeness of great music!![]()
I standby my earlier assertion about the "worthwhile" nature of HockeyOf the sports in America I'd watch hockey any day over football. Football over *gag* basketball. Basketball over *urk* Baseball. Baseball over *puke* Golf! *ptooie*
Besides - I was raised in Buffalo. What didja expect?
cheers,
:wave2:
What are you talking about?!? There are still people who's watching hockey, I know that in Canada is more watch but still, hockey is a great sport and there is still alot of people who watch it:thumbsup: Anyways, we don't have this problem in Montréal:thumbsup:
in canada i would bet that most watch hockey. you would probably pull your hair out if you lived in southern california. its just not shown much. :dunno:

Reall? Damn, I would be F'n bald at age 22. I watch hockey 3-4 nights a week. Even when ther are three hockey teams in Cali. do they really not air it much?
I bet when Wayne Gretzgy played for the L.A. Kings it was aired all the time
ever since the strike. before the strike, hockey was shown almost as much as basketball was. there is still the kings and ducks. i guess. if you want to watch the kings. i hear the ducks are good though.
I just would not see the point in having two teams in city and not having there games aired much. the radio is an alternative, but it just doesn't cut it especially if there is a fight going on.
Some teams like the Canucks charge an arm and a leg for tickets, so many people can't go to the games, and tv is there only way of watching hockey games.
Did anyone see Mellanby's goal last night? here's a link to the video. I don't know if it will work for everyone tho
