Can Sunderland pull the upset tomorrow against Leicester? And Spurs vs Manchester United, oh man, should be good !

NO! Here is what I think happens

Big Sam "Parks the Bus" from opening kickoff. He plays 8-9 at/near the Box. This actually is what Leicsester does NOT want. They like YOU to have the ball and they will kill you on a counter attack. But Sunderland will let Leicester have the ball about 70% of the time. Sunderland will be content with a 0-0 Draw to get 1 point so next week at Norwich sets them up nicely. Sunderland might make ONE mistake and if so it will cost them. Maybe a set piece on a free or corner kick where somehow the ball finds an open Leicester player and he slams it home. I can't see Sunderland scoring here at all. Leicester doesn't give up goals and Sunderland can't score when Leicester has the ball 70% of the time. If Leicester score, Sunderland either has to accept a 1-0 loss or press forward and if they press forward and exactly what Leicester want and now 1-0 becomes 2-0 and then Sunderland is major league fucked. The score of thise game will be 1 of these 3: 0-0 or 1-0/2-0 Leicester.

I suspect today that Spurs will get dicked 4-0 by the mighty red army. However if my Grand National bets are anything to go by this might not be the case. (I bet on two horses, one fell at the first, the other at the second!).

Leicester has all but wrapped it up. But Spurs are young and should attract a name or two with CL qualification.

Man U shoulda gone home instead of fighting traffic and getting there late. A Forfeit would have been a much better result than the disgraceful "effort" they put in Sunday at WHL. Give Spurs credit for the 3 goals in 6-ish minutes but Man U showed as much "fight" as someone tossed into a Shark Tank

I just want LVG gone. He has given youth a chance and that will be his only legacy at United. Similar to when he was at Bayern Munich. He destroyed their footballing philosophy but gave a number of youngsters a debut. Look at them now. United just have to wait 5 years before we are anything again.

While it is not impossible, it looks like Tottenham's draw with West Brom today sealed the deal for Leicester. Shit!

Leicester will have to wait for the title. Man Utd will upset the apple cart next weekend.

Disagree. I like this game to end in a Draw - maybe 1-1. That takes Leicester's magic number to 2. Think they might win it Monday cuz I think Chelsea gets a Draw at worst and a Draw gives Leicester the title IF they also Draw Sunday

IF this is still a race next week, can you imagine what tickets will be going for next week at Leicester's last home game? And that place will be even more insane than it was last week vs. Swansea. Part of me wants to see them win it next week at home and then have the fans storm the field afterwards

Don't be shocked if Leicester is champions around 4:50P (EDT) on Monday. Think Chelsea either wins or draws and makes the 5000-1 long shot a reality

I doff my hat to Leicester City. Well done. As a side issue for all Americans out there, Leicester is pronounced "Lester" just to help you all out.

What a great race we will have for the final 2 CL spots:

Will Tottenham hold on to 2nd

If Arsenal can't beat Villa - they don't deserve to play in the CL

That leaves Manchester - City or United to get the last spot

United has @West Ham and Bournemouth...............City @Swansea

I think United loses to the Hammers in West Ham's final home game at current grounds and beats Bournemouth. Swansea is playing really well lately and I think they beat City giving United 66 to City's 65 and United gets 4th

People will obviously write Leicester off for the title next season in the same way that they did right up until they were actually crowned champions but I don't expect that any of the big clubs are necessarily destined for success next season.

Pep Guardiola has a massive re-building job on his hands and not only that I anticipate he may have a hard time adjusting to the Premier League. Similarly, I'm not sure if Conte is the right man for the job at Chelsea but he's got a lot of transfer dealings to do as well. Still remains to be seen what happens in terms of the manager at Man Utd but as it stands not a threat due to a lack of quality players. I'd probably have the most optimism if I was a Liverpool fan. Klopp might be able to build on what's he's been doing with a few good signings. Spurs have the potential to go one step further I guess with an exciting young squad but Spurs fans will no doubt be looking upon things with the usual pessimism. And Arsenal will continue to be Arsenal for as long as Wenger is in charge. Leicester need to be smart in the transfer window, building a squad to compete in Europe without disrupting what made them so successful this season.

So, in summary - Bournemouth to lift the trophy in May 2017 inside their 11,500 seater stadium.

I'd still tip Man City to win it next year, Aguero and Silva remain 2 of the best attacking players in the league and they will always have enough money to spend. Arsenal are always dark horses since they have a talented squad but currently lack a top striker. United are good defensively but Martial needs a lot of help for them to be a potent attacking threat. Chelsea are hard to judge since Hazard has started to pick up his form again recently and if that continues into next year they'll be right up there. I'm not so optimistic about Liverpool though, they're still really bad at defending (see Moreno whenever he's in his own half) and Coutinho has fallen off lately. Leicester should be good enough to finish top half again but this year was so unbelievable with virtually every player having the best year of their career that its difficult to predict where they'll end up. Spurs will probably be battling with Liverpool for 4th or 5th next year as I think their team on a whole played probably as well as they ever will. I don't think Kane can keep up this number of goals each year and Spurs still feel a little fragile at the back.

I'd be happy to see Bournemouth get 40 points again next year!
