1. Chelsea
2. Man City
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool

They need to really pull their fucking socks up to stand a chance of 4th. Like, immediately. Aside from beating Quite Poor Really by the odd goal in five in lucky circumstances (a team that recently got thumped 4-0 by both the otherwise misfiring Man United and Spurs) they can't buy a win.

Oh, there's also zero chance Spurs will finish above Man United. Their defence might be makeshift but ours is made of polystyrene. A strong gust of wind scores past us right now.

Balotelli was a gamble that hasn't paid off. Liverpool replaced one controversial figure in Suarez with another. At least with Suarez you are going to get the goods on the pitch which goes some way to making up for everything else whereas with Balotelli it's all the baggage and not necessarily any performance to justify it.

Other than that they've got things hopelessly wrong this season. Some iffy signings, far too reliant on Sterling and Gerrard is now on what's looking like a rather sharp decline. As has been said before in this thread last season was Liverpool's chance to win the title and they blew it. In such a short space of time they are now a million miles away from it and frankly top 4 would be an achievement in itself.

Thank you Man City for proving my point, lol.... spending millions on wages and transfer fees yet they are not able to win at Upton Park.

As idiotic as Suarez is, his on pitch performances were world class. He worked as hard as Dirk Kuyt used to, while scoring a ton of goals and got quite a few assists as well. Balotelli right now offers far less to Liverpool than Lambert who's been forced to sit on the bench and watch this muppet. I think Liverpool will be lucky to make the Europa league next year TBH.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Qatar should not be hosting this event. I think it should be held in countries that have a football/soccer history and not just billions of dollars to spend. These 1%ers just want to have the event come to them as a form of entertainment. FIFA should be embarrassed they are whoring out their product. Sorry, lost my mind for a second. FIFA knows no shame.

Such an odd season for the English league, apart from Chelsea and Man City being good, not sure who's going to join them as third best team, nobody wants it, apart from maybe Southampton

That was a massive thumping. If we weren't so porous at the back and a little more clinical in front of goal it could have been much heavier.

Cheer up Jose!

My half way through the season review is Man Utd are on for a league and cup double. Still think Liverscum will get relegated.

Please beat Saints at the weekend. Then if my lot win at Palace then (shhhh!) we'll creep into the top 4, with nobody really noticing.....

To be fair, last season was the only season they've beaten us at the Lane in the last 7, four wins and a draw before that going back to 08-09 season. But still..... #WengerOut LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

Another loss at home for Quite Poor Really. If I were bookies, I'd pay out now on them going down.

Shockingly, Aston Villa Nil actually scored today!!.... but still lost. I think time is finally up on them as well.

As has been the case for the past few seasons there's a clutch of poor sides at the bottom who rely on three teams being worse than them to survive.

Any three from Sunderland, West Brom, Aston Villa, Burnley, Hull, QPR and Leicester could conceivably go down.

I think Leicester are the only ones that look completely without a prayer. If they thought they'd made it after the 5-3 against Man Utd then they've had a reality check since.

At this moment in time, come the end of the season I'd go for:

18. QPR
19. Hull
20. Leicester

Villa are going down. They can hardly ever fucking score. The points totals and one or two early results make their position look stronger than it is right now, but when all the teams around them are picking up the occasional win and they're battling to even get a 0-0 draw because they can't fucking score, they'll realize the trap door is yawning open beneath them.

Villa since December :

0-1 Palace (A)
2-1 Leicester (H) - Clark, Hutton
0-1 West Brom (A)
1-1 Man United (H) - Benteke
0-1 Swansea (A)
0-0 Sunderland (H)
0-0 Palace (H)
0-1 Leicester (A)
0-2 Liverpool (H)
0-5 Arsenal (A)
1-2 Chelsea (H) - Okore
0-2 Hull (A)

Look at the string of 0s and in particular some of those results, and tell me that's not form that screams "can't hack it in the Premier League any more." They're fucked.
