570 mile round trip for me. Manchester bred but work at the wrong end of the country now. All the family are in Lancashire so always a good thing getting some motherland air.

5th actually, some decent signings and got rid of Sterling who wasn't impressive last year. Should be close to 4th but I suspect Arsenal/City will be just good enough to occupy 3rd and 4th

Easy Chelsea title as long as they don't have to rely on Falcao for goals

Bournemouth for 17th!

Is somewhere outhere.
I think Man City will win it this year with Chelsea and Man U not far behind. As for relegation I think it'll be Bournemouth, Norwich City for definite, with a battle between Sunderland, Villa, Leicester City for the last relegation spot. Hopefully Watford will be safe from the drop.... COYHs!!! :nanner:

If you're a Hotspur fan disappointment would be a good word today. Having a a two goal lead vanish. At the same time, thought Stoke City outplayed them so ending in a draw isn't' that bad. Maybe Tottenham was lucky. Just an observation.

Stoke are capable of beating any team in the division

I've never rated Hughes as a manager and his past record suggests last year was a fluke. Stoke may have been unlucky but when they perform at their best and only take away 1 point they have to be worried.

Leeds and West Ham were supposedly too good to be relegated in the past and Stoke this year could be in the same boat. Impossible to know after 2 games though.

Agree about Hughes. Every man and his dog seems to insist that he's a good manager but I don't see it myself.

Not sure if randysandy is being serious or not but maybe he's the Stoke fan I saw on TV the other day saying that Stoke would finish 5th this season, pretty much just because Shaqiri has signed for them. That's pretty delusional if you ask me. I don't class them as relegation candidates however.

This season's promoted teams have more than a good chance of staying up when there's teams like Sunderland in the league. They've got away with it for a few seasons but this could be the year their luck runs out. They have been atrocious so far. Dick Advocaat should have listened to his wife. I was amazed he took the job on. He'll regret it if he doesn't already.

I also expect West Brom to struggle.

I watched a bit of the Liverpool match tonight, they look more solid than I've seen them for a while, not that fluid or creative yet though

Love the storied franchises on DOWNLOAD about Bournemouth, Watford, and Norwich City and how they made it to the Premiere League. Being here in the USA, it's still a good feeling to see and hear about these football clubs. So glad I was able to watch these programs !

That's a big leap from what he said, which was simply....

And he's right. Stoke are those annoying twats that can tumble anyone on their day despite usually being quite shit. They beat Man City at Wastelands quite early into last season when City had barely woken up from the hangover of winning the title. They're pretty consistent in their inconsistency. They'll lose to mid-table nobodies but every now and again surprise you by pulling out a big one.

Despite that admittance, when my lot failed to put them to bed on Saturday I wanted to kill every fucker in the room.

Spoken like a real true fan of any team one is loyal to !

Sorry randysandy. Let me revise my post to the following...

I saw a Stoke fan on TV the other day saying that they would finish 5th this season, pretty much just because Shaqiri has signed for them. That's pretty delusional if you ask me.

That's the point I wanted to get across, without wanting it to sound like a personal attack on you.
