Next week (October 17th) is the start of the October 2011 OCSM of the Month contest! Nikki Nova made the cut for September 2011, who will be October's leading lady?

Since Nikki won last month's contest, she will not be eligable to be nominated for any of the OCSM of the Month contests that are left for 2011! However, there are loads of ladies that have been active this month so far!

Prize: The OCSM winning the October edition of OCSM of the Month will get a guarenteed spot in the Best OCSM category of Miss FreeOnes 2012!

Petra, under the "Who:" section, it reads "50+ votes can nominate & 5+ votes can vote," when it should read "50+ POSTS can nominate & 5+ POSTS can vote." God knows few if any actually read the rules.....but I thought I'd point it out for the few that actually do. Ha ha ha!

Anyway, to everyone, this month, based on the activity I have witnessed anyway, I'm pulling strongly for Jane Burgess &/or Miss Hybrid. Given the unique perspective and positive influence that she always brings the board, & has brought this past month in particular, I guess if I had to choose between the two, I'm leaning toward Jane Burgess. She has actually won 2 of the last 3 OOTW (OCSM of the Week) titles, but the last one was won by Miss Hybrid (who is usally a top contender each week also). Anyway, those are the top two in my book this month....and that's the way this informed, learned, & attentive guy is leaning! ABB! :thumbsup:

As somebody that has never had actual sour grapes I wonder what they taste like. Where I'm at they usually arrive at market well into a ripened state. Are they actually sour or are they more tart. :dunno::1orglaugh

That list is just suggestive for nominations, which start on the 17th....then again, it'll be the top 10 in total nominations that go on to the voting phase, which starts on the 24th. Long story short, you will still be able to nominate any one from the 17th to the 24th....but the voting list will actually still be only be 10 people long.

It's important to remember that you can actually nominate anyone who is an OCSM...but if it turns out they're not eligible (because of the posting requirement), they just wouldn't move on either way. But yeah, that list is just some OCSMs who have been active in October.

Every now and again the grocery store I go to gets a batch of green grapes that are very sour. Makes your teeth ache...almost reminds me of those sour patch kids they used to sell back when I was a kid.
